07.01.2022 Is Tennis a team sport? YES! Even though tennis is looked at as a individual sport, actually most tennis comps are played as doubles or team related. The o...n court lessons cover individual decision making but we also focus on team based games and communicating. The Fast4 matchplay we hold on Thursdays is currently all doubles. If one teammate makes a winning point both receive the point and likewise for the a losing point. Without working together and encouraging your teammate through the winning and losing points, the team will not be successful. That is why tennis is awesome, your child learns how to lose and win as part of a team and individually. Not many sports can offer both!
