25.01.2022 It is with great sadness we share the sudden passing of Rhett Oldfield. Rhett was the passionate coach of our u10 blue team and husband of club Secretary, Denise. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Denise, Tyler and Ebony at this tragic time. RIP Rhett

22.01.2022 Hi Everyone, We still have room for a couple of players in the Club’s first ever Female side, U11 Girls team so if you are in Year 4, 5 or 6 and want to give it a go send the club a message. We train on Mondays and play Sunday mornings. We also have room for another 2 U13s Boys Yr7, we are current training Monday’s and Friday’s and play Saturday mornings. ... All registrations include a playing shirt, a training shirt and a club hat this season. Seniors are always welcoming new players, we train on Tuesdays and Thursday’s from 4.30pm onwards. 11.01.2022 Master Blasters Gala Day This Friday (22/2/19) sees us being joined by Warwick/Greenwood JCC at Warradale Park for our seasonal Gala Day. This involves us playing 2 shortened games against WGJCC teams. ... The session may go a little longer than usual but I'm sure the kids will enjoy being up against another club. As always Parent help will ensure our kids have a great time, we just need to make sure each team is represented by at least 1 coach for each game, but the more the merrier. Our friends from Landsdale Senior Cricket Club will be cooking a bbq so please show your support. There will be a sausage sizzle and drinks available. Look forward to seeing you all there on Friday.

10.01.2022 REMINDER: Special General Meeting to vote on the proposed amalgamation with the Landsdale Cricket Club (Juniors and Seniors) and Ballajura Cricket Club is to be held 8:00pm, tonight (Monday 24 June 2019) at the Warradale Reserve Clubrooms Landsdale. The Special General Meeting is scheduled to run for 1 hour but is likely to only take 30 minutes, so we would appreciate you taking the time to show that you care about your clubs future by being in attendance. More information in regards to the merger and the Special General Meeting can be found in a Facebook Post on this page dated 14th June 2019 and an email to all Members dated 13th June 2019.

05.01.2022 Hi Everyone, Junior Registrations have gone very well so far, and we are pleased with the numbers. Teams are being formed this weekend, so it is important to get registered before the weekend to ensure you get into a Team. Register at https://www.playcricket.com.au/ ... We are very keen to get as many children on the park this season playing Cricket so if you require a payment plan contact me ASAP to ensure we have your child placed in a Team. Thanks to the amalgamation deal done over the offseason, all registered Junior players will receive a new Club playing shirt, a Club training shirt and a Club hat included in this seasons fees only so don’t miss out. If you have not registered your interest in Coaching or assisting the Team, please also let me know before Sunday. Training will be available to start in the coming week for those Teams that has someone already committed to coaching them. The club will work to get the rest of the Teams on the park as soon as possible thereafter. The Season is due to commence for U14s upwards on the 12th and 13th of October and for the U10s to U13s the following weekend. 04.01.2022 Important Announcement to all Members: Calling of Special General Meeting to vote on the proposed amalgamation with the Landsdale Cricket Club and Ballajura Cricket Club. A Special General Meeting is to be held 8:00pm, Monday 24 June 2019 at the Warradale Reserve Clubrooms to discuss and vote upon the proposed amalgamation of the Landsdale Junior Cricket Club (LJCC) with the Landsdale Cricket Club (LCC) and the Ballajura Cricket Club* (BCC) (*please note that BCC is a combi...ned junior and senior cricket club). The request for this Special General Meeting was received from LJCC Life Member and former President Kevin Burns and has been approved by the LJCC Executive Committee to be brought to the members. It is important to understand that there will only be 1 item to be discussed at this Special General Meeting, that being the proposed amalgamation. The Special General Meeting will not be a forum for other discussion points. The Special General Meeting will be broken down into potentially 2 votes, firstly on the proposed amalgamation with LCC and BCC to become the Ballajura Landsdale Cricket Club and if that vote is carried, then a second vote is to be undertaken to ratify putting forward Patrick Murphy as Junior Vice President and Kevin Burns as Treasurer on the Executive Committee of the amalgamated club. The Special General Meeting is scheduled to run for 1 hour but is likely to only take 30 minutes, so we would appreciate you taking the time to show that you care about your clubs future by being in attendance. A note from the LJCC President - Patrick Murphy We have had 3 official meetings discussing the amalgamation of the 3 Clubs which the LJCC Committee and myself believe have ticked off all the boxes for this amalgamation to proceed and that it is in the best interest of the long term future of LJCC. All of those points will be available at the Special General Meeting signed and agreed by all 3 clubs so there is no doubt about what the amalgamation means. Nothing really changes from the LJCC perspective except the opportunity for a much larger club, more volunteers with vested interest in the success of the junior program and a clear pathway to be able to play cricket long after Juniors. There will be no extra cost for playing apparel in the first season as they will be provided as part of the amalgamation agreement. LJCC will not be affected as the Juniors will still be in the same competition, training in the same areas with the Junior Blaster and Master Blaster programs to still be run at Warradale Reserve. 03.01.2022 With sincere apologies for the late notice, the Landsdale Junior Cricket Club would like to advise that due to the recent passing of Under 10's Blue Coach Rhett Oldfield, the Club has made the decision to postpone the 2018 / 2019 Trophy Presentation Night until further notice. As the Oldfield family are a big part of Landsdale Junior Cricket Club and out of respect to Club Secretary Denise and her children Tyler and Ebony, the Club feels it is best not to proceed at this tim...e. The Club will provide further information of a rescheduled date and time for the Trophy Presentation Night in the coming days. Thanks for your support and understanding.
