22.01.2022 Appearing tonight at Lane Cove Country Club - Catherine Hunter Catherine Hunter is one of the most captivating voices and performers in Australian jazz today. Her musicality and strong vocal styling see her switch effortlessly between romantic ballads, bossa novas and swinging jazz standards. Catherine burst onto the Sydney scene in the early 1990s having graduated with a jazz diploma from the Canberra School of Music, the alma mater of some of Australias top jazz artists.... Catherine appears as a featured guest artist with Australias biggest jazz names, including internationally acclaimed James Morrison, Don Burrows, Bobby Gebert and John Morrisons Swing City Big Band and All Star Bands. Catherines own quartet is in hot demand for high profile corporate work and she has performed at gala events such as the Boomerang dinner for Princess Marys royal visit in 2005. Catherines diverse career has taken her to jazz festivals around the country including the Norfolk Islands Jazz on the Rock Festival, The Hunter Valleys Jazz in the Vines, Manly Jazz Festival and Darwins Sunset Jazz. She has toured all over Australia and in Asia, having recently played an exclusive engagement at the prestigious Hong Kong Island Shangri-La Hotel to great acclaim. Catherine has also appeared regularly on television, with 3 years as a regular performer on Midday and is a popular voice on many advertising jingles.

Both Billy and George are legends of the music scene in Australia. Billy is making his much anticipated return after a recent quadruple bi-pass operation, and this night represents the first time that Billy and George Golla have played together for over forty years. ... 06.01.2022 PAUL STEVENS THE SINGING CADDIE Appearing with the Full Swing Quartet at the Lane Cove Country Club, 7.00 pm Friday 24 May Paul has toured the world, met and worked for many top golfing legends, and in retirement is still the longest serving tour caddie to date, amassing 35 years on the tour. There are two things Paul loves, entertaining and caddying. Although retired from the tour as a caddie, he can look back on his career with pride and historically saying, I was there... when certain golfing feats were recorded. Paul also has an incredible career as a professional singer, being the lead vocalist in several bands in the sixties, recording songs in the UK and abroad, at famous studios lie Abbey Road for Columbia Records, and appearing on many television shows, The Ronnie Corbet show to name one of many. Known as the singers singer Paul sings classic renditions of songs by Michael Buble, Barry Manilow, Jack Jones, Neil Sedaka and Bobby Darin. See more
