20.01.2022 Our thoughts today are with our wonderful Arena Director,life member and friend George Fruin, who got injured yesterday. He is the driving force behind our rodeo and we certainly would be lost without him. We are all praying for his speedy recovery as he lies in hospital, he is in the best place and we send him and his family lots of love & best wishes. Thank you George for all you do. xxx

19.01.2022 This is from the Omeo Rodeo Committee but it applies equally to Lang Lang Rodeo. This is the first time in 77 years that we haven't planned a rodeo, it has been cancelled twice due to weather but this is a very sad day for us all. 17.01.2022 The Lang Lang P.A & H Association held their AGM last night. We had a huge attendance of members including some new members, which was great to see. Our Kenne...l Secretary, Helen Crago, who has run the dog show so successfully for the past 16 years has decided it's time to retire and has passed on the job to a new member Julie Cartledge. We wish Helen and Richard well and look forward to working with Julie and David Our President for the past 2 years, Scott Hamilton, has also decided to step back, due to family commitments. Scott is now our community liason officer and as such he will still be front and centre. A well deserved Life Membership was awarded to past President for 7 years, Stephen Kent. Congratulations to Steve. 15.01.2022 IMPORTANT NOTICE It is with great disappointment that we announce the cancellation of the 2020 Annual Lang Lang Rodeo, scheduled to be held Easter Monday April 13th, due to a Government mandated ban on gatherings of more than 500 people. Our Rodeo is one of the longest, continuously running rodeos in Australia, having run since 1944 and as such we are loathe to cancel our iconic event but we must also consider the health of our competitors, volunteers and patrons. Our hope is to run a rodeo later in the year if conditions allow. We thank all our stake holders and we also aim to run again in 2021 bigger and better than ever on Easter Monday.
