25.01.2022 Lange Design is honoured to be part of the Lilydale District School ANZAC 100 year Commemorative Garden and Memorial Walk that was officially open today. The ceremony was a significant occasion for the school and the Lilydale community in consolidating the ANZAC spirit. Congratulations goes to the staff and students of the school who constructed the project. Well done.

23.01.2022 Based on the actual size and profile of the Lee Enfield 303 rifle, this handrail was designed for a World War One memorial in Ipswich back in 2002. 22.01.2022 Lange Design Landscape Architecture have been working in collaboration with Loop Architecture , Northern Midlands Council and the Longford community on the Urban Design Strategy for Longford. This is phase one of a three phase project. Exciting times ahead for Longford.

18.01.2022 Work is progressing smoothly at the Prospect Vale Park nature based play area. Macrocarpa logs are almost complete, stone boulders have been hand selected, and the basket swing, slide and water play elements are on their way.

16.01.2022 This old playground provided a lot of fun and challenges for me back in the 70s. Notice the lack of soft fall and abundance of risk. Not sure of the statistics on injuries sustained here but a lot of fun was had, especially exploring the intricate components of the old locomotive. Are we eliminating too many risks in play areas today, at the expense of trusting our kids to explore their physical, mental and social limits for themselves ?

16.01.2022 The Mersey Vale Memorial Garden is complete. We are immensely proud to have designed this significant memorial garden for the Devonport community. This unique place will continue to grow and evolve into a wonderful public memorial garden surrounded by flowering shrubs and decorative ornamental trees providing seasonal change all year round. Thank you Devonport City Council for this wonderful opportunity.

14.01.2022 Works at Mersey Vale Memorial Garden Devonport are almost completed. The two plinths were installed today and the columbarium pillars and memorial columns will be the final touches in the coming days. Very exciting time seeing this project come together.

12.01.2022 Heres Nick from Nick Galbraith Landscapes delicately handling and loading a hand selected boulder that we sourced from a paddock near Pipers River. The boulder is currently being handcrafted to create a bowl and spill over channel and it will form the central masterpiece for a very stylish and unique waterfeature.

10.01.2022 Well it seems like forever coming, but they say good things come to those who wait. After many months of rain delay, construction of Prospect Vale Parks nature-based playground is now complete. Lange Design is honoured to have designed this playground with the intention of children (and some adults) of all ages getting down and dirty and testing their limits. Thank you to Meander Valley Council for this exciting community project and to Playtas Group Pty Ltd for their attention to detail during construction. 08.01.2022 Heres the final concept plan for the nature based play area at Prospect Vale Park. The concept was based on the results of a successful community consultation program, with local families letting us know what they would love to see and what the kids want to engage with. All things going well, construction should start early next year.

07.01.2022 Nerima Gardens is definitely one of our favorite projects. It was the first major project for us back in 2003. We provided the design for stage two of the existing gardens, and now 13 years on, both stages have integrated into one very special garden. I enjoyed going back there on Monday and strolling through the gardens. Ipswich City Council continue to do fantastic job of looking after it. Well done.

06.01.2022 Leon and Paula from Lange Design were honoured to be attending the official opening of the Penny Royal Redevelopment in Launceston on Friday night. Full credit to The JAC Group for putting on such a great event in such wet Tasmanian conditions. After working closely with the JAC Group, 6ty Architecture & Engineering and Cumulus Studios on such a complex site, it was great to see the project come to fruition.

03.01.2022 Another successful project with Northern Midlands Council. Lange Design recently provided conceptual plans followed by detailed construction drawings for the Sheepwash Creek wetlands project, in Perth Tasmania. Lange Design worked closely with Councils consulting engineers to develop the design and function of the wetlands which will be integrated into a future parkland corridor. Council and NRM North were quick to complete the earthworks, weirs, stone pitching and initial plantings just before the heavens opened up. Well done to the Northern Midlands Council.
