25.01.2022 Sooooooooo.... with two weeks left until Xmas we have officially hit the silly season; often work is super busy & there is an increase in social demands; all at the same as trying to process all the emotions that Christmas brings!! Over the next two weeks we will be posting self care tips to help you navigate the craziness. SELF CARE TIP #1 - SET BOUNDARIES!! ... Now is a GREAT time to practise saying NO (like Kath!) Move a social engagement to January, go to bed early instead of doing those extra jobs, sit on the couch instead of hitting the shops AGAIN!!!! Work out what needs to be done and say NO to the rest Wouldn’t it be great to wake up on Xmas morning full of energy rather than feeling exhausted and depleted?? #sayno #selfcare

We’ve already taken two full car loads and still got some more stuff to take them in the new year. 14.01.2022 SELF CARE TIP #3 - GET INTO NATURE We all know getting connected to nature makes us feel better. And even though time is usually scarce at this time you will feel soooooooo much better if you pop down to the beach for an early dip, eat dinner outside and check out the sunset or even just take a mindful walk in your garden. If you do have more time take a drive and snuggle with a kangaroo like Sammy #naturerocks #selfcare

Just taking a small amount of time per day to still the mind, come into the present & expand your mind beyond your current thinking, can have life changing effects. ... There are some wonderful apps with literally thousands of guided meditations which are a great place to start. Download one of the following apps and try and listen to one mediation in the morning or at night (especially if you have trouble sleeping): -Insight Timer -Headspace -Calm Go on - do it!!!! 07.01.2022 It’s baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack!!! It’s time for our annual XMAS FOOD DRIVE where we are collecting donations for awesome organisation - The Haven! Through-out the year these guys provide daily meals, services to help people get back on their feet & a friendly space for people to relax and have a cuppa. At Christmas time they give out hampers at their annual Xmas lunch, for those doing it a bit tough! #totallegends ... We are always blown away by how incredibly generous you guys are & hope we can do our bit to assist Joan & her incredible team at The Haven again this year!
