17.01.2022 Good Morning! We are all feeling a bit back to normal here in the Langlands Village and we are so thankful to you all for returning to us for your personal fitness and leisure. Our head coach at Langlands, Guilherme Santos was interviewed by our long time friends and educators Aquatic Education about his experience growing up as a swimmer in Brazil and his experience and passion for swimming coaching the Brisbane Jets Swimming Club here at Langlands. 15.01.2022 Calling all collectors... Do you have some extra Ooshies sitting around home? Bring them into Langlands if you do. If you have them still wrapped that’s fantastic we can use them as rewards in the pool. If you have unwrapped ones we would love them also. We are going to have a big bucket of extras to help people get their full set I’ll pop a bucket at the front desk so you can drop them in there next time you are in ... 09.01.2022 { SUNDAY 22nd November } Tomorrow we are very excited to welcome HUNDREDS of swimmers from visiting clubs to the Langlands Park Memorial Pool. Brisbane Jets Swimming Club is hosting a Long Course Preparation Meet. The 50m Pool & 25m Pool will be CLOSED to the public for the entire day. Lessons will continue as normal in the indoor pool and the slide pool will be open to the public. ... PLEASE CONSIDER the fact parking may be very tight tomorrow on the streets. You may want to concider walking to the pool, taking the bus or getting dropped off and picked up. Please allow yourself ample time to get a park and check in. If you do get a park please make sure you aren’t taking up the space that 2 cars can fit. Be thoughtful of your fellow commuters. Our apologies for any hassle this closure may cause to your Sunday Plans. We looking forward to reopening 5am Monday morning for lap swimming we close at 6pm tonight. Wishing our Brisbane Jets swimmers all the best of luck tomorrow with their personal best times and hope you all have the best day ever with your team mates!
