24.01.2022 Here are the "kids" from the 70's getting their group photo taken. We'll be ready to start sending the USB sticks out in the next week or so. 23.01.2022 Further to the previous "Help Needed" posts where we were trying to find 3 people with items in the 1988 Time Capsule. We made contact with one of them today. Little 8 y/o Jesse Hooper from Violet Town, thanks to prompts from Jess George and Kath McLeod, turned out to be one half of the brother and sister team that formed the band "Killing Heidi". We made contact with Jesse today to and he'll soon receive his letter which I believe is from his grandmother. Jesse, we hope like everyone else who got one, you get a real buzz from your letter.

22.01.2022 Hello everyone, I hope this finds you well. It is with great pleasure that I would like to announce the provisional appointment of Sharon Mitchell as our new Principal. Sharon is currently the Acting Principal at Tarwin Lower PS & will be looking to join us around the middle of August 2015. A rigorous selection process took place during the second half of Term 2 & into Term 3 with the Selection Panel finding Sharon to be the best candidate to lead Lang Lang Primary School n...ow and into the future I would like to thank Fiona Barwick, members of the Selection Panel & School Council for their support & commitment during the selection process. I would like to take this chance to thank Rebecca Knight for her time with us, so capably fulfilling her caretaking role at Lang Lang Primary School & wish her all the best for the future. I look forward to Sharon becoming part of the Lang Lang community and know that she will be made very welcome as Principal. Travis Davidge School Council President.

20.01.2022 Here is Mrs Wilson, with the shovel back in 1988 when the time capsule was buried. She'll be back there tomorrow morning (Monday 2nd Dec.) to help do the same with the new time capsule. Everyone is welcome to come along and watch. See you there at 9:30am.

17.01.2022 On behalf of everyone at the Lang Lang Primary School (our school) and the 125th committee, I'd like to sincerely thank all of you out there for your contributions, comments, suggestions and most of all participation. We've declared the event a major success and were all absolutely thrilled that it turned out as well as it did. We'll still monitor this page until all the USB sticks have been delivered and then from time to time after that. Apart from that .............. See you all in November 2038. Thanks everyone.

16.01.2022 The USB sticks are ready. For those local, you can call in to the office at the school and pick yours up. Make sure you see Fiona who has the list of who's paid etc.. For those we're posting to, you should get yours in the mail next week.

10.01.2022 LOOKING FOR VIDEO FOOTAGE Hi folks, Does anyone have any video footage they'd consider including on the final 125 years video? I'm particularly after "people footage" of people having conversations, catching up, laughing etc. you know, peoples faces. I'm also after some footage of when we dug up the time capsule on Nov 1st. Thank you to all those who have visited & enjoyed a walk down memory lane or caught up with some long lost friends over these past 2 years. We hope that it has brought back great memories of your time at L.L.P.S. I wish everyone a fantastic Xmas & New Year. All the best from the Davidge Family.

05.01.2022 Just a reminder folks that the new time capsule will be buried on Monday morning (2nd December) at 9:30am. The deadline for posting your letters to be included in the capsule is TOMORROW, Thursday 28th of November. If you miss out now, the next time you get access to the time capsule will be 25 years from now in 2038. Get your letters in.
