24.01.2022 This 40x21x6 shed went up during the week big thanks to Action Steel and Radius Steel Construction, couldn’t get two better people to work with, also thanks to Tim Mclure for the earthworks can’t find a better man to sit on the grader

24.01.2022 New future workers for Langlea, dining on their first hard food diet, while Mum is having some respite having a look around the farm.

18.01.2022 Crutching July lambing ewes in the middle of sowing. Thanks to James Ferguson and Hudson and Archer. For helping.

17.01.2022 Upgraded our seeding outfit. Going very well. 9 metre Horwood, with floating hitch. On 8.75 inch spacing. 275 Case Magnum as well.

17.01.2022 All crutched up ready for lambing. What a great start to the season

14.01.2022 We visited the Murtoa Stick Shed. A very interesting piece of agricultural history. Built in 1941.

12.01.2022 Harvest finally over. Thanks to Peter Richardson for a job well done. This is a Trojan wheat crop which did 6 tonne a hectare. Our best harvest ever ! When the Water holes don’t get topped up in our area. We have a great cropping year. As I’ve been told all my life by our late mother and Nan. ‘ you can’t have your cake and eat it too’

11.01.2022 Here’s one for you Bruce Barnes-Webb

11.01.2022 Moving 1225 ewe weaners onto a new ryegrass/clover pasture, almost feels like spring not winter

09.01.2022 Daylight saving , an hour earlier. Nice

05.01.2022 Pilgrims with their Ram shearing trailer doing our Border leister rams.

05.01.2022 Just finished a new fence dividing up a paddock for smaller mobs of twins. New water points each side. Then about to leave and this rainbow appears.

03.01.2022 Finished our exclusion fence. The hardest part was thinking about how to build it. It was quite good to erect. Very pleased we went with Waratah. Looking forward to having no Roo’s harvesting our crop before we can. Also, just shifting the ewe weaners.

02.01.2022 The latest project .We needed new bins for our old lamb finishing set up. One thing led to another and we end up going down the Feedtec path. An automated system that can be programmed to suit ! This is 30 meters of trough with each side feeding. That’s the same as 10 bin feeders. This comes in cheaper and and a lot more user friendly. ... First lambs in today. So cross the fingers! See more

02.01.2022 For along time been annoyed by ever enlarging gaps in double gates. End assembly’s moving over time in this soil. So this idea popped into my head. So I can make in workshop and take out and fit in a minute.
