24.01.2022 A little teaser of summer yesterday! Perfect for a quick go on the Yambuk Slide and a walk to the river mouth. And yes we all went in, who could resist this watery temptation on a hot day!

24.01.2022 What better way to enjoy the last day of summer than with high tea at Time & Tide!

22.01.2022 So we are getting our New Year Greeting in early as 2020 brought us our beautiful little girl and she has no appreciation yet for long lazy mornings in bed! 2020 has been a year of ups and downs for us at Langley’s Accommodation, both personally and in business. We began this year on a high with more houses that ever before, a year’s worth of bookings ahead and the promise of a new little life. Then in March COVID hit and everything changed. We watched the cancellations floo...d in and we issued full refunds where we could. We didn’t think it was right to take money when guests weren’t travelling not because they did not want to but because they could not. We watched as 90% of our business account disappeared almost over night. It was honestly sickening to see the business we have spent years building and depend on slowly sink. We let go our staff, put the out of office on and went home. We did the same as everyone else. We did all the jobs we never seem to have time for, we oh so loved the home schooling challenge () and we welcomed our little Mollie-Rose into the world. Then things began to change and as travel opened up business picked up, in fact it flooded in. We are now almost back to where we began the year which was an impossible dream back in March. This year has tested us all but has also shown us how much support we have without even realising it. So as we end 2020 we want to say thank you. Thank you to our cleaning staff who alway do an amazing job but have really stepped up when we needed them, working long hours day after day to keep up with the demand. Thank you to Kristy Pruin for the days, evenings, nights and weekends this job sometimes demands. Thank you to our owners for trusting us with your homes. And most of all thank you to our guests. Thank you to those of you who moved dates rather than cancel, you do not know how much we appreciated each and every one of those. Thank you to those of you who return year after year to stay with us. And thank you to all of our new guests who chose to holiday this year with us. Thank you. So from our family to yours we wish you a wonderful New Year and fingers crossed for 2021.

07.01.2022 We were so touched to find this in The Age and it was a great reminder to us about how lucky we are. Thank you to Sidra for her amazing review. We’ve always believe we were blessed to live in such an amazing small town. One that welcomed us in almost 11 years ago and has supported us through the ups and the downs of our work and personal lives. We’ve always tried to show our guests that part of our community. It means you get to take the time to do a little bit more, listen a little longer and go that extra mile especially considering the year we have all experienced.

Please be reassured that if you are in lockdown when your booking arrives we are more than happy to either move your dates or fully refund your monies.
