10.01.2022 ISO 693-3 language codes are used for tabs in the top navigation bar on the Languages.Org.Au website at https://languages.org.au. ISO 639-3 is a set of codes within the ISO set of standards that defines three-letter identifiers for all known languages. ISO (pronounced "I - SO") is the International Organization for Standardization. (For more information about the reason for pronouncing it that way, see the article and video clip on Nick Carver's blog at https://www.nickcarverphotography.com//what-is-iso-what-d/). For more information on the ISO 693-3 language codes, see the SIL ISO 693-3 page at https://iso639-3.sil.org/. These international domain name codes for languages were adopted on our website from 25 February 2020 to maximise the visibility of links on small portable devices.

01.01.2022 Term 4 commences on Monday. French, German and Spanish classes will be at usual venues and Tamil online as for last term. Next week will be Week 11 - the second week of Q4 for all the classes. Best wishes to all for the final term this year.

01.01.2022 Another organisation link has been added to the list on the Languages.Org.Au home page. This is the University Languages Portal Australia (ULPA). It's particularly relevant for senior secondary students who are thinking about further studies in languages. For more details, see https://languages.org.au/index.htm to see our list of organisational contacts, or go directly to https://ulpa.edu.au/ to visit the ULPA portal.
