17.01.2022 To all Langy JFC players and families, It is with great please to confirm that training will finally commence next week from the 15th June. The committee are currently working behind the scenes on club training protocols which will be conveyed through your Coaches and Team Managers by the end of this week along with your confirmed training days and times.... It is important that everyone, meaning players, coaches and parents comply with these club protocols for everyones well being. Everyone doing their bit helps keep the kids on the training track. Thankyou for your patience. Langy JFC.
17.01.2022 Hi all please see the latest communication from AFL SE RETURN TO TRAIN / PLAY For the avoidance of doubt, the current Return to Small Outdoor Group Training Protocols restricting groups to a maximum of 2 groups of 10 remain in place. Although the announcement from the Premier on the weekend is another positive step forward, we await advice from AFL Victoria and Netball Victoria on how this will be applied to Football and Netball.... We understand the challenges in implementing and managing the Return to Train protocols and thank all clubs and their volunteers for their efforts. It is critically important that collectively we continue to take all steps not to compromise the health and wellbeing of our wider AFLSE community. Although there is an eagerness on a return to play date, AFLSE will continue to work on a return to play strategy based on the updates from the state government and AFL Victoria which could come as early next week. STAY SAFE

15.01.2022 Announcement to all members, sponsors and supporters, also to the greater Langwarrin community For a long period of time now, we at the Langwarrin Sporting Clubs Collective LFNC/LJFC/LCC have been working on the development of the clubrooms located on Oval 1 at Lloyd Park. A big thank you to Frankston City Council, Byron Douglas and his project team, ward councillors Mayor Cr Sandra Mayer, Deputy Mayor Cr Colin Hampton, local State, Neale Burgess , Federal member Peta Murp...hy and previous Federal Member Chris Crewther we could have not proceeded without you. The Collective have now received commitment to replace the existing clubrooms built by members in the early 1970s with a new purpose built club and social rooms to futureproof Lloyd Park for the next generation and beyond. The new facility will provide occupancy for all three clubs and be referred to as the Lloyd Park Pavilion of which will be the hub of Lloyd Park. State of the art AFL approved facilities with a first floor 200 seat function room so as to allow our clubs to host their own event and presentation days or evenings, with a fully operational and functional event space for members to enjoy on game days or nights. This will be a two storey building maintaining the magnificent viewing aspect across Lloyd Park, with the ground level able to host boys and girls, mens and womens football and cricket, with all of the conveniences expected of a new building. This is the first phase of this exciting new project for Langwarrin and we as a collective shall keep working with council through the planning and construction phase. We will be creating a building fund to cover the cost of the fit-out of kitchens, bars and social rooms, so please do not hesitate to contact each of the clubs for any donations you can offer to this project. We shall also be registering this project with the Australian Sports Foundation (ASF) therefore offering sponsors of this project to be able to realise taxable expense benefits. Thank you Sincerely, The Langwarrin Sports Club Collective. Langwarrin Football and Netball Club Langwarrin Cricket Club
