25.01.2022 Custom built merbau stairs. Quite the challenge with the sloping concrete.

24.01.2022 Here’s an old school classic & a personal fav - Nasturtium . This completely edible plant has a peppery taste - rather like watercress - that is perfect for salads. Bushy, cascading or climbing (like ours has decided to do) Nasturtiums love full sun & neglect. Richly fertilized soil will result in lush foliage but fewer blooms. Poor soil & it’ll grow & bloom like crazy. Actually out of control crazy - which I kinda like. While ours is the well known classic orange, they come in a range of yellows, oranges, red & multi-color blends. And bonus - they have natural insecticidal properties. Which means they repel borers, codling moth, white fly, aphids & white cabbage moth. Beautiful, hardy, edible & bug repellent. Perfect!

21.01.2022 Simple fire pit area in the hills. Kakadu crazy slate stepstones with Tuscan toppings and brown mudrock as seats and retainer wall. Decorative screen to hide utilities.

19.01.2022 Travertine used as both garden edging and as stepstones. Note full pavers are cut down to work as edging both width and angle at ends.

17.01.2022 Job done earlier this year in Officer. It was a real fight against the mud but most have been since Autumn. Note the seat built onto the retainer wall, and 136mm spotted gum as deck. Stepstones are 500mm2 grey granite. Star jasmine will run up the lattice to give life and colour down a narrow space.
