22.01.2022 Blue Tree Project aims to promote mental health awareness. #itsoktonotbeok More needs to be done to help people with mental health concerns. Stronger support of our professional health system is necessary so we can help people like Jayden - those brave enough to seek help. Tragically, Jayden took his own life after being released from hospital twice in the one day.... He was overlooked in an overwhelmed system which is not made for modern society mental health issues. With this project, we hope to raise awareness around mental wellbeing and help generate change. #YouCanTalk

18.01.2022 The special thing about Lanterns on the Lagoon is the way we as a community, artists, schools and community groups alike, come together and take things that would normally be trash, and often end up in landfill, and turn them into something beautiful. Here are some more of the beautiful sculpture entries from Saturday, and some snaps of the lanterns at dusk. More to follow! ... #watchthisspace #sustainabilty #art #sculpture #community #lanterns #lotl19 #visitsnowyvalleys #tumutregion #sunset #lagoon #lotus #water #coralreef #whirlpool #fish
14.01.2022 A beautiful art installation of red poppies, like the ones that sprouted from the blood drenched fields of the Somme, is to be projected on to the sails of the Sydney Opera House tonight to commemorate the fallen. The candlelit service is held to coincide with 11th hour of the 11th day GMT time and provides and opportunity for those unable to attend the morning service to commemorarrte and remember all who have served ours and our wider communities.
