18.01.2022 Wes loves all of our amazing guests.... but it’s fair to say that when a winemaker also named Wes stays with us again and leaves treats like this then that will certainly get his attention. Perfect weather for McLaren Vale’s Dodgy Brothers Wines I don’t know what the collective noun for Wes is but here’s cheers to all the Wes’s we know.

17.01.2022 And that my friends is a wrap for 2019...yes this is how we look at shut down, dags on & wine in hand! Thank you all for your ongoing support, it genuinely means the world to us. 17.01.2022 Our amazingly clever Wedding Coordinator Chelsea made our first official wedding at Lanzerac a fabulous occasion. Barossa Styling + Events is where you need to go for some more inspiration.

16.01.2022 Gotta love our neighbours!!! A rare break in the workload to enjoy the company and history of Seabrook Wines on a Sunday arvo. Great walls of history (love the graphic of the founding fathers) and a cosy deck overlooking their vines. We walked away with some Grenache, Montepulciano and Shiraz for the cellar. Thanks Hamish.

15.01.2022 Congrats to our fabulous in-house guests from Perth on winning the Hayes Family Wines prize for February. Sometimes a simple like or share is all it takes! It looks like the Shiraz and platter combo is a winner. Now for March.... Flaxman Wines have put up a Reserve Chardonnay so same rules apply.... like or share a post, visit the winery or put up a pic on our Facebook or Instagram pages. ... Good luck!!!

15.01.2022 What if I told you you could help support a great cause and eat chocolate.....

15.01.2022 Working on the front yard at home is all worth it when you can sit back and enjoy what’s left of a beautiful Spring day. There’s plenty of room on the lawn for you and your loved one..... or get some friends together and hang out on the lakeside deck? No more excuses, call us anytime or go to www.lanzerac.com.au and we will see you for some springtime sunset selfies soon. ... #mybarossa

11.01.2022 It was great to have Peppa from Quality of Movement - Pilates host another weekend retreat for her clients at Lanzerac. Pilates, yoga, stretching, exercises, mindfulness (and some wine time) organised and instructed by one of the best. If this sounds like your kind of thing then contact Peppa and enquire about her 2021 retreat.

10.01.2022 That look you have when you turn 7 and no one comes to your party! Yes, it's quiet times but as you can imagine the Lord was treated as only he is accustomed...spoilt!! He's very much looking forward to many birthday pats and snuggles from you all soon! #lordoflanzerac #birthdaypup #wesleyherringtoncarter

10.01.2022 Congratulations to our first Monthly Wine Prize winner Aldo Longobardi! Your delicious #seabrookwines Reisling is on its way! 08.01.2022 With the Barossa Vintage Festival looming on the horizon (April 2020) it is an honour to congratulate the recent intake of the fabulous Young Ambassador's program....including our very own Georgia Carter (middle of the group). The Ambassador's will become an integral part of the staging of the Festival as well as complete a Project based on an idea of their choice to be evaluated during the program. All the best to everyone and here's looking towards another chapter in the rich history of this amazing region.

07.01.2022 Some more wedding styling inspiration for you courtesy of Barossa Styling + Events

06.01.2022 Sunday 29th March, three months shy of her 104th birthday we said goodbye to our beautiful Nanny. I know many of you had the opportunity to share a story or two around the fireplace (her favorite spot) and a few were even lucky enough to go home with one of her crochet coasters or bookmarks! Lady Ada had an amazing life, in fact one of her favorite sayings was "I've lived a blessed life, I've never known illness and I'm surrounded by wonderful family." She loved coming up t...o Lanzerac, meeting and chatting to new people especially if they were from her beloved Townsville or Sydney. It's hard to feel sad when you know of the incredibly full and exciting life she lived. She was always busy (no idle hands) and took the best out of every day. Things out of her control were met with "What will be, will be." Which given the current circumstance is a great quality to have. We will greatly miss your naughty giggle when you knew you were going to beat Justin at Crib! See more

05.01.2022 Hi Everyone, my name is Justin and I'll be your Covid Marshall during this Facebook post celebrating our 7th year as custodians of Lanzerac Country Estate. Let me tell you first, this is not a job title anyone wants. I declare 2020 the Year Of The Asterisk because everything about it will be looked at differently in reflection....and it was no different for us as a business as well as a family Over two months of zero guests, huge amounts of refunds and a lengthy period of a ...general state of confusion will unfortunately be the low points of Year 7 at Lanzerac. But we have come through the other side and survived.... and we send our best wishes to all hospitality and tourism operators everywhere that also stared down Armageddon. From a personal standpoint...even sadder than all of that was saying goodbye to the family matriarch and unofficial National Treasure....Lady Ada Barclay.... at the incredible age of 103. She passed peacefully at Tanunda Hospital and we thank everyone for their well wishes as so many of you had the pleasure of a fireside chat with her. We all miss you Nanny and we look forward to celebrating her life the way it should have been done had it not been for all of the restrictions we now call the new normal. On to some positive news...we held our first official Wedding (non-family) in February with Hannah and Brett enjoying a weekend full of fun, love and great family and friends. Watching a beautiful young couple make the big commitment at our little place is something we do not take for granted and for that we say thank you to Hannah and Brett for allowing us to be a little part of what I hope is a long and happy future for you both. So all in all a roller-coaster ride that has reinforced our appreciation for each other as a family and for our amazing guests who continue to return for visits as well as spread the word to their family and friends. Without your support this doesn't continue....so from all of my beautiful family I thank you and look forward to what Year 8 of the journey has in store for us! Until next time, stay safe and stay positive. We need each other more than ever. Much love! Justin. (Covid Marshall signing off)
