09.01.2022 Every year on 19 September, we commemorate those who have lost their life working in Queensland mines, on the anniversary of the states worst mining disaster where, in 1921, 75 miners lost their lives in a coal mine at Mount Mulligan. This year, to ensure everyone can participate without public health risk, the Miners Memorial Day service will be professionally produced and streamed.
