24.01.2022 One of the topics discussed at tonights p&c meeting was that the plan to make the road blocks near the school permanent, and in the current plan it will be creating no parking and no stopping zones near the school. This will make it difficult for not only the staff of the school, but also for pick up and drop off, and could be potentially more dangerous for our children as they will be forced to walk further along road side to the school. The feedback form has closed at the... council for this topic unfortunately, we have only caught wind of this after it was too late. But we encourage ALL families of the school to please make comment on the original Facebook post (below) from the council and share our concerns, hopefully together we may still have a chance to make a difference. 01.01.2022 Hey locals! La Perouse Public school has a huge community garden which we would love volunteers to take part in. We are looking for a community leader to coordinate it. We plant regularly, and there are established garden beds with plenty of produce currently, but we would love someone who has a passion for gardening and fresh produce to really get it going and take it to the next level. You will be required to have a working with children check (which you can access throug...h service.nsw website) If leading the way isnt your thing and you would just like to take part in the care and reap the rewards of taking home fresh veggies and herbs wed love to hear from you too.
