18.01.2022 Well 2020 certainly is the year that keeps on surprising us. It's Dr Julia here and I just wanted to let you know of a recent development that may lead to some necessary changes over the next few months. Last Tuesday I suffered a heart attack. I have no known risk factors and had no previous symptoms so, to say it was a surprise would be understating things. Our amazing team have taken care of the clinic and ensured things have run as smoothly as possible in my absence beca...use they are awesome However, until things are back to normal with me, we may need to change some of the organisation of the clinic to make sure everyone else stays healthy and doesn't get too stressed. This may mean that we have limited appointments available at times for both consultations and surgery. It may mean sometimes that waiting times will be longer than normal as we might have less staff available at short notice. Please continue to be patient and understanding, just as you have been throughout this whole pandemic schmozzle. What won't change is the team's commitment to ensure that your pet receives the best care possible and that you still feel like a valued part of our Lara Pet Hospital family. I am currently at home and getting some rest on doctors orders. Thank you for your support of our little hospital up to now, and I look forward to seeing you soon. Here's my little scruffy mate Dash, who is keeping me company. Love to you all xo.
