24.01.2022 This time tomorrow a group of triumphant walkers will arrive at the Alice Springs Telegraph Station to be greeted by the women that will benefit from all the funds they've raised. Law and Culture is such an important part of the work that NPY Women's Council do and it's the Larapinta Extreme Walkers that make that work possible. 23.01.2022 While we were sleeping in and hitting the snooze button this weekend the Larapinta Extreme Walkers were trekking through the arid heart of Central Australia to raise money for Aboriginal women's Law and Culture retention!
16.01.2022 Day one completed! A lot of tough but tired walkers made it into camp last night for an early night under the stars... After walking 27.6 km they deserved it!

13.01.2022 Tonight is the walkers' last night under the stars! They've put in a huge amount of work and effort to raise funds for Indigenous women in Central Australia and tomorrow they'll finally get a well deserved rest. There's one more leg to go before they can put their feet up though... 09.01.2022 Today we announce that 2019 will be the FIFTH and FINAL Larapinta Extreme Walk. All great things have to end at some stage. To date we have raised more than $420,000 for the indigenous women of central Australia and we really want to go out with a BANG, pushing far beyond half a million. Do you see yourself out here in central Australia?... If you've been putting it off and thinking "I'll do it next year" well here is your last chance. 07.01.2022 Sunrise from the top of Mt Sonder or sunrise onto the peaks of Mt Sonder? By now our walkers have seen both and are turning their attention towards Alice Springs and the remaining 200 kms... Time to get down to business!
