18.01.2022 Last day of the week and I would like to share this great video from the Spiritual Activist Radhanath Swami. Although it is about the education system we live in, it is an important message for all of us, educators, parents and our government. What is happening to our society? What values are we teaching our future generations? I will do my best to teach the future generations to accept and embrace who they really are; teach them to always follow their heart and dreams; to li...ve in balance with nature, respect others and be grateful for the simple fact of being alive. What a bless is to be alive isnt it? I also hope that one day all the lessons we learn is this life are learned through love; we can do that by accepting them as they come, welcoming all the emotions and feelings we have and trusting that even if whatever situation we are going through hurts, we know that is because something better is on the way or this situation will make us a better person. Changes are always for the better and welcoming them with love is the key to live a peaceful life. Lets work together so we can build a better world for them. 17.01.2022 Philosophy As an educator, my focus is to unfold the genius in each of the children in my care, creating a child-centred and experiential learning environment. As a human being, my focus is to comfort them when they are sad or scared, to laugh, dance and to guide them to be the best version of themselves, to greet them every day with love and gratitude for being part of my journey so we can grow and learn with each other.... As a nature lover, my focus is to explore ways not to harm our planet. The use of plastic will be minimal and what can be recycled will be used as a resource for expanding childrens creativity and engaging them in making this world a better place. As a food lover and knowing the importance of a balance diet to develop our brain, body and nurture our soul, our menu will provide all nutrients and vitamins necessary for the children to develop to their maximum. Our products will be organic and provided by Mother Nature accordingly to its season.

15.01.2022 How can we stay cool and still eat healthy treats??? Ice-cream of course Besides being yummy, the children get to participate in the activity which improves their fine motor skills. All we needed was coconut milk, blueberries and a pinch of Canadian Mapple Syrup.

12.01.2022 This week has been all about sensory activities. Sensory play supports language development, cognitive growth, fine and gross motor skills, problem solving skills, and social interaction. This type of play aids in developing and enhancing memory. All we need for todays activity is a bucket, shaving cream, some drops of food colouring and animals of your choice. Put them in the freezer so children can enjoy later.
