24.01.2022 Those of you that follow me on Instagram may know that Ive been gallivanting around overseas in Scotland & England recently. It was an amazing experience & I was lucky enough to witness & wander through some of the most breathtaking scenery that Id ever seen. One such place was Braemar, in the Cairngorms National Park. Here is my better half, soaking in the woodland magic. #smallpeoplebiglandscapes

We spent a rather chilly but amazing day with the lovely Charlotte & Jorgen capturing their winter wedding at gorgeous Bendooley Estate Berrima. Heres a cute moment with the newlyweds, right before the umbrellas were popped open as the rain arrived!

22.01.2022 Elisa & Kerry...just married! These guys tied the knot in a very intimate Blue Mountains backyard ceremony recently & it was an absolute pleasure to capture & share in their joy (thats clearly written all over their faces!)

21.01.2022 Congratulations to the awesome Cara & Gary, who tied the knot in the beautiful Spring sunshine on the grass by the beach at Narrabeen Surf Lifesaving Club last weekend :) Their wedding had a fun, relaxed Hawaiian theme, where a large portion of the guests (including the Groom) wore Hawaiian shirts & Leis!

21.01.2022 It really has been too long between posts!! So how about I break the drought with some very exciting news :) I entered the AIPP Australian Professional Photography Awards (APPA) recently, and for the first time I submitted two images into the Wedding category. Quite daunting, knowing how high the standard of entries is each year for this particular category (hence my main reason for putting it off & only entering personal work in other years). I am thrilled to share that one ...of my wedding prints scored a Silver Award! Here it is amongst the other Silver Award winners in the Wedding category: http://www.aippappa.com/appa-2017/wedding-silver My second wedding print scored 77, which is in the high level professional practice range (but not quite award level). 08.01.2022 I recently returned from a little sojourn to Melbourne to attend the AIPP 2018 Australian Professional Photography Awards (APPA). This image from my recent adventures around Central Australia earned a Silver Award in the Travel category. I entered four in total & the others scored within the professional practice range. Not my best results to date only earning one Silver but still happy to have achieved one more point towards my AIPP Accreditation level of Associate - only one more point to go which means APPA 2019 should be the year of the yellow ribbon for me! I absolutely love being part of the AIPP and the awards process and Im already thinking about my entries for next year. . #larawisemandaniel #aipp #aippaccreditedprofessionalphotographer #appa2018
