13.01.2022 THANK YOU to all the members who attended this mornings AGM and welcome to our newest members George & James. Id like to take this opportunity to thank everyone... who has made an effort to be involved in the club over the last 12 months. A BIG THANK YOU to all those who supported me in my roll as President for the last 22 months Id also like to thank all of the members who believed in me enough to nominate me again - im very honoured. But in saying that, I decided to decline any position within the club today. ******* Im very pleased that we now have such a good solid member base of amazing people and a great new committee to see this club further into the future. 05.01.2022 Tonight saw the last event for LSCV for 2019 and what a year its been !!! Congratulations to all our drivers and especially to our top 3 for the year Steve Ve...lla Stephen Zderski Phil Coghill To Clubman of the Year Phil Coghill for your tireless effort with the planning permit And Recognition award to Steve Vella for his many years of dedications and support to the club and its members To our LSCV Kids - fantastic effort, our future stars ************* We had so many grand plans and ideas for this year including different race formats to change things up a bit, even our first ever night meet and the introduction of LSCV Kids........... but unfortunately the Melbourne weather was not our friend and it seemed that every time we came close to a scheduled event, the weather decided it didnt want to play the game. We didnt have nearly as many event days as we had hoped !! Then once the weather started getting better, our local council decided that they would step in and require us to apply for a planning permit, which meant no more events or "building" until its approval. Thankfully, part of the planning permit required some noise testing information, meaning we could hold another couple of events for testing purposes. Its definitely been a set back..... but its nothing we haven’t been able to handle and will only make us stronger. So with this year quickly coming to a close, I would like to say a huge thank you to all the members, non members and businesses who have supported the club throughout this year. Its safe to say, that without you all, there would be no club. The vision is slowly becoming a reality and im definitely looking forward to bigger and better things next year !!!

03.01.2022 Next Sunday, 19th January, LSCV Kids 1/10th will be on the track for the first time in 2020. Their heats will be slot in between the 1/5th cars. It’s a great way for the kids to get involved and feel like a part of a team while building friendships and working on that competitive spirit.... LSCV Kids is only $30 per year plus $2 payable at each event. This includes insurance and an end of year medal. The $30 membership fee must be paid before or at the first event and the member form completed and received before the event.
