Lap swimming, aquarobics, squad swimming and swimming lessons as per the normal program We have our new Covid Safe Plan we have density requirements to adhere to, please follow our staff directions. ... We will have our QR code displayed in reception. You will need to download the mySA Gov app which contains the QR Code Scanner. If you do not have a smartphone, then our reception staff will assist with a manual contact tracing record. Learn to swim families please check your email for all the things you need to know for your time spent at the pool.
23.01.2022 June 9 will be the start of our new Covid Safe way at the pool. Here is what you need to know: Squads- will resume June 9, we have had a wonderful response from everyone who wants to return- If you want to return to squads and haven’t already advised us; please email us with your Childs name and squad. ... We will send a roster via email this coming Tuesday. The roster will be as similar as our previous program as possible. Lap swimming and Aquarobics - Will also start on the 9th. Tuesday we will have a new program available. Spread the word and call us to book in your spot. Learn to Swim Lessons- Will also start on the 9th. We will have a smaller program running to accomodate the amount of people allowed in the Swim Centre. Our staff will be calling our LTS families to organise bookings. Aussies / Swim For Fit Squads- Bookings will be required by phone please. We have completed our Covid Safe plan and ask that all attending the pool follow the directions of our signs and staff. Change-rooms / showers are not allowed to be used at this stage. Of course the toilets will be available. We will be requesting Contactless Payment (card only) please. We are SO EXCITED to be able to reopen our doors and hope to see everyone soon!

19.01.2022 Yesterday, the SA Govt introduced our roadmap to easing COVID-19 Restrictions. While STEP 1, starting on Monday, allows for pools to reopen, they’re restricted to a maximum of 10 people. The nature of our business, and the size of our operations, mean we won’t be reopening at this stage. ... We’ll need to wait until restrictions are eased beyond Step 1 & Step 2. 11.01.2022 Our Prime Minister recently announced new social distancing measures to slow the spread of Coronavirus. Specifically, "For gatherings of fewer than 100 people, in an enclosed space, the government is now recommending 4m2 per person." Our swim centre has enough space to accommodate the 4m2 recommendation, and the ongoing 100 person limit indoors. ... Some of our swim families have chosen to stay away, which is why we can meet this recommendation. HOW CAN YOU HELP? Limit spectators to one adult per family (where possible) Limit your time spent at the centre before and after lessons Shower at home after a class if possible Keep a healthy distance and use our viewing areas Pay via card (where possible) Stay away if you feel unwell Largs Bay and Seaton Swim Centre’s continues to seek and follow advice from Swim Australia and the Health Department, on how to fully implement the recommendations and keep everyone safe.

10.01.2022 Thanks to those who have recently been in contact asking when the Centre will be reopening. Eased restrictions have recently seen a option for us to hold squad training, aquarobics and lap swimming. This is something we are looking into and will have more information very soon. Unfortunately our Learn to Swim program remains closed because of restrictions placed on the number of people allowed within the Centre. ... While we will keep you updated though our Facebook page, email and phone as things progress.
