HVFA and NNSW have kindly given discounts on fees to help small clubs like us to survive in light of the scourge of COVID. We are in a very fortunate position that the club can pass this discount on to the players. This has only been possible due to the fact that our sponsors have again stepped up to support us. Combined with the fact that the committee has been working hard behind the scenes to get the... club on a good footing too. Long story short.... Support our wonderful sponsors when you can! 17.01.2022 Hi All, NSW Health has recently put in place updated guidelines for community sport. Most of these don’t impact our competitions or teams but there is a couple that we all need to be aware of. * From today there are to be no spectators present at senior football matches. * Carpooling with people from different households is discouraged. * No face to face social activities, e.g committee meetings or team bonding sessions.... 14.01.2022 Grand Finalists 2019 A brilliant first half hat trick to Mason Brett inspired a 5-1 victory for Largs FC 1 who will face Dudley in the GF. Largs FC 2 had a nail biting 1-1 result after extra time eventually coming out on top in a penalty shoot out 5-3.... 12.01.2022 Hey guys, time to rego for the 2020 season!! Same setup as last season - go to https://www.playfootball.com.au/ and follow the instructions. It is pretty easy to use but there are a couple of things to remember... 1. You need to know the email you used to register if you played last year 2. You can register using facebook login details if this email is the same 3. You need your FFA number so the system can look you up on the old system and send details across 4. If you playe...d last season you dont need a new photo but if you didnt, its best to use a device with a camera to register so you can upload a passport style photo/selfie while registering - it CANNOT be done later like the old system. If youre unsure of any details such as your FFA number and email used last year, comment below and I will message you on here or text you using the mobile number I have. Rego fees are now $270 this still includes a ticket to the winter fundraiser, all match fees, as well as socks and shorts for those that need some. Please note that rego fees will need to either be paid in cash to me (Jim Bromley) or by bank transfer. If you prefer payment by bank transfer please put your name in the transfer details and send a screenshot of the completed payment to me. It is important the football family supports the NSW Government and the broader community, by continuing to promote the limiting of spectators and maintain social distancing at grounds. This is effective immediately and is vital for the successful continuation of our competitions throughout the state. We are working with the Office of Sport Zones and Clubs to update the COVID-19 Safety Plan Template to reflect the new directives which we will share with Clubs tomorrow in readiness for this weekends activities. 08.01.2022 Another huge weekend of football for the Largs boys, both teams will be playing away before returning to fortress Ernie Jurd in the final round before finals. Largs 1 take on bottom placed New Lambton with a win guaranteeing our boys a place in the finals. Whilst Largs 2 take on second place Rutherford with the title already wrapped up after last weeks results.... Good luck and GO LARGS!!!!!

08.01.2022 We are one step closer to season 2020 We have been given the green light to return to training from Thursday 4th June, with some considerations. There are a lot of changes to ensure the safety of our players, friends and family so as much as we want to return to "normal" it will be different for a while. See you at Ernie Jurd tonight 6:30!!... * Social distancing of 1.5 meters should be adhered to at all times. * No more than 10 people allowed per quarter of the pitch. * No person to person contact or drills are to be completed. * Players should arrive no more than 15 minutes prior to training and should leave the venue immediately after the completion of training. * Players are required to bring their own drink bottle. * Players should arrive dressed ready to train. * There is to be no spitting at any time.

The committee would love to get your feedback and input on including the proposed kit design for the upcoming season. 01.01.2022 Bittersweet for the Largs FC boys today. Largs 1 showed great courage and determination to grind out a 2-1 win in the final moments of the game, however, Largs 2 went down narrowly 1-0. Both teams will be playing next week, but for now let's celebrate another fantastic season at Largs FC with our LFC Rocks Winter event.
