Designed by Robert Kolenik, this eco-friendly kitchen island, called Ocean Kitchen, is a huge saltwater aquarium. The stunning centrepiece has a countertop workspace, cabinet storage on one side, a sink, and working burners for cooking. And, the countertop rises to make tank cleaning easy.

15.01.2022 Kickstarter’s office in Brooklyn NY is oriented around a central courtyard that stretches up to a second-floor garden and open roof deck. Nearly all of the construction materials and furnishings are locally sourced reused or recycled materials. Re-purposed steel trusses from the former pencil factory’s roof frame a new glass courtyard which brings natural light into all levels of the interior and provides views of a fern grove, flowering trees, birds, butterflies and a rain chain.
