17.01.2022 Delwyn truly is the most beautiful person. When my Daughter & I were living in lutruwita/ Tasmania last year, she’d flown down to visit us. I’d spoken to her of June & Brian (Penelope’s Grandparents) and even suggested we take a trip out on Brian’s boat whilst she was there. Tragically Brian passed away the day she arrived, and though they didn’t get to meet, she felt it fitting to paint his portrait. Del used acrylic, bitumen, and even sand that Penelope had gifted her from ...Conningham Beach. Today this painting reached its rightful owner (Brian’s partner June) after making its maiden voyage across the Bass Strait with Del & friends on the ‘Carnival Spirit’. I snapped a few flicks of Del, with the painting, my Daughter Penelope & her Dad Billy the day before she left. Almost every day Penelope & I wind down the windows of our car & call out, ‘We love you Poppy Mansell!’ You are very missed x @delpaints1960 @delwyncrinis

09.01.2022 Just finished our last shoot in lutruwita/ Tasmania, and we're down to about 30 hours left in this beautiful place before makin' the big move back to the mainland! We've had the best time, met the best people, and travelled to places that have been nothin' short of magic. It's not goodbye, it's see ya soon! And as for for Wollongong, we’ll be seein’ you even sooner!

04.01.2022 These images were taken during a week spent on my Daughter's families Country, with her cousins, Nunami & Tanganutura. This most beautiful time away was followed by some really tough times for the family, as the day after we arrived home, my Daughter's Poppy Mansell unexpectedly passed away. He'd come for dinner the night before we left, and checked my car over to make sure that we'd arrive safely. 10/11/18- 15/11/18.

02.01.2022 I’d held off posting this, as we’d had it printed on fine art paper & framed for her Dad’s Father’s Day present, but my Daughter has been made into art (again) This illustration depicts an image of Penelope from last Invasion Day where we marched in a rally between the City & Redfern, all whilst Nel’ was wearing fish thongs, and her @hausofdizzy chain. I remember asking her how she felt on the day & she said, ‘I’ve never seen so many of my people’ My girl is so special, and so is this graphic. Thank-you @chontellehammonds
