Artist Blurb Australian Body Art Festival 2021 Name- Larissa Salton Name of Creation: - Maiden Mother Crone Maiden Mother Crone is a life time journey of the one person traveling through time. Mother Maiden Crone carries a sculpture time spiral that connects them as one like the umbilical cord from Mother to child. The Sculpture is created from old farmers PVC piping an old curtain, insulation foil, wire, and a collection of watches dating back to 1940s Passages of time once worn. The dresses are created from old sewing patterns A stitch in time saves nine. The headpieces are the Triple Goddess symbol. Each phase of the moon correlates with a phase of a woman’s TimeLine Maiden Mother Crone. Larissa Salton collected recyclable items from the Beerwah Recycling Centre and Nambour Thrift Shops Cereal boxes, dried flowers, Old sewing patterns, Old sheets, farmers PVC piping, lace curtains, collection of Old watches, insulation foil, lace, second-hand skirt, singlet.
