17.01.2022 Happy Birthday Horses! "August 1 is celebrated as the Horses Birthday. The date is chosen as the official birth date of all horses in the southern hemisphere as it falls at the beginning of the foaling season. This allows all foals born in that season to be considered the same age for competition purposes. Standardbreds however are 1st September" We all know what this means.. foal time!

We are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for in hospital and mobile veterinary care.... To keep our clients and staff as safe as possible, we have implemented the following measures as advised by the Government. We ask that only one person be with the horse during examination. Hand washing, hand sanitizing, surface disinfecting and social distancing as per Government direction Please advise us over the phone if you are unwell or are self isolating due to travel or possible contact with COVID-19 positive people and we can make alternative arrangements to care for your horse.
