Link in comments Originally hailing from the Byron Bay Shire, Paul Mcmahon finds laughter through an exposition on the hypocrisy of hippies, the faults with our food and shines a lazy light of truth on all that we have to put up with in our floundering first world. He's an insightful and hilarious act who lets a t...ight weave of comedic jabs fly through every microphone. Paul has been a regular on the comedy circuit, and had has performed alongside, Tommy Dean, Frank Woodley, Steady Eddie, Ronny Chieng, Austen Tayshus, Tom Gleeson, Dave O’Neil, Chris Franklin, Akmal Saleh and opened for US comedian Doug Stanhope on his Australian tour. Paul performed with huge success to large audiences at Woodford Folk Festival, Nimbin Mardi Grass, Falls festival and his successful solo show Hippycritical’ which he performed at the Brisbane Fringe Comedy festival. Paul is the polite, quietly spoken guy next door who says what he really thinks on stage. Fathers, girlfriends, friends, shopkeepers, in fact everyone will be able to relate to Paul's easy going nature and hilarious perspective on life. Paul McMahon has a knack for observation. In a world of comedy where sometimes it feels that everything has been said, Paul is able to go in and come up with fresh ideas. He's unobtrusively laid back on stage, and is capable of taking the audience by the short and curlies with a killer punch line. Paul McMahon is a funny bloke. Watch out for him. Based in East Ballina, Alexandra has recently made her debut at Neurological Misfires in Lismore and Comedy Commune in Lennox Head and has joined the open mic bill. Alexandra delightfully staggers and stumbles through life's experiences, and in doing so stumbled onto a comedy stage in late 2019. ... Alexandra shares entertaining little musings about her experiences as a disabled woman and her observations about the mostly foreign non-disabled world she lives in. She seems to think she has more in common with her 93 year old grandma than her early thirties peers. Alexandra lives by her grandma's words- Don’t be good. Be good at it. From Alexandra’s perspective she often finds it is the non-disabled who are the oddities, and she takes joy in tipping things on their head.
