21.01.2022 Retrospect to Asian Business Association of Wyndham’s Past Event - The Offline Barter Activity for Residents to Live a Low-carbon Life In response for the call out of Asian Business Association of Wyndham for a low carbon lifestyle, tens of residents were gathering at Point Cook on the afternoon of 20th June, to bring together their idle items, find new owners for the waste, and make the best use of their resources. Bartering can not only solve the problem of space occupie...d by idle products, but also help residents get items they currently want, save a part of daily expenses, and can effectively avoid waste and benefit others. At the same time, bartering provides a great opportunity to meet new friends in your neighbourhood, or share some small stories about the original intention of shopping or your special attachment to a specific item. If the new owner is treasured, the warm exchange atmosphere will be filled. This event is just the beginning. In the future, Asian Business Association of Wyndham will hold more barter activities, and neighbours are welcome to change together!

12.01.2022 Retrospect to Asian Business Association of Wyndham (ABAW)‘s past event - Diwali Festival Celebration The Diwali Festival has been the largest annual multicultural celebration in Wyndham since 2013. Diwali is also known as the Lantern Festival, the Indian Festival of Lights or Hanukkah. It is the most solemn festival in India and its status is similar to the Lunar New Year Festival to Chinese community. Last year’s Wyndham Diwali Festival has been successfully organised on 9t...h November 2019, with collaborative efforts from Point Cook Chinese Friendship Association, Melbourne Yangtze Choir and Asian Business Association of Wyndham. Residents of Wyndham had brought us some wonderful performances during the event. We sincerely hope that there’ll be more chances in the future for us to hold multicultural celebrations like this, to give an opportunity for our residents to learn more about their neighbours’ cultural background.

06.01.2022 Asian Business Association of Wyndham (ABAW)‘s latest event - Free Taichi Lessons for our Residents. The benefits of Tachi, a traditional martial arts can be plenty: First, "Tranquillity" and "Vipassana" Tai Chi thinking is a kind of mindfulness training. It trains people that when emotions come up, do not escape or exaggerate, let it spread from the deepest part of the heart, and slowly expand outward. It keeps people calm and be able to control emotions when dealing with "c...onflict". Second, it’s a really great aerobic exercise, a lot of scientific research has proved that long-term practice of Tai Chi is beneficial to health. Tai Chi uses deep, long, thin, slow, and even abdominal breathing methods to increase the capacity of the chest cavity and increase the number of oxygen inhalation and carbon exhalation, to ensure that the gas can be fully exchanged, and the oxygen intake of each organ is relatively increased. So where can we learn this sport? Here’s the good news: the Asian Business Association of Wyndham has invited a famous Tai Chi master to teach free in the Western District for a period of one year and twice a week. The number of places is limited, check out the scheduled slots and registration method in the poster belowand sign up fast to secure a place now! * ABAW reserves the right of final interpretation.
