21.01.2022 Okay friends, my fail from yesterday is looking better! Needs a bit of a tidy up but will show you all soon! Also - I GOLD GILDED A SEASHELL. Which is just what every piece that makes you angry needs. I also said yesterday that maybe I need to do a tutorial on something going wrong and fixing it, so this piece will be on my Patreon later this week! Filming is almost an hour for this one

17.01.2022 MAKING FOREVER MEMORIES My latest completed Beachscape. This is the first time I’ve been asked to work on a piece that isn’t actually a beach! It’s based on the iconic Mitchell River silt jetties in Eagle point, Victoria. How these silt jetties in the Gippsland area formed is pretty amazing. They are a type of digitate or ‘finger’ delta formed between 6,000-10,000 years ago due to sediments being deposited during times of low water flow, then being pushed out into Lake King in periods of high water flow. Conservation efforts have seen them maintain a similar formation for some time, although they are half the size of what they were when mapped back in 1840s!

13.01.2022 Ladies and gentleman, it is my absolute pleasure to introduce to you ‘TRANQUILITY AT NIGHT’ Unlike my other Beachscape artworks, the client requested a monochrome ocean, inspired by the ocean at night. She wanted to look at it and feel peaceful waves. As with all of my more complex beachscapes, Tranquility at Night features natural elements with sand and rocks. I chose to steer away from full black sand to balance the piece and tie it in with the client’s decor.... ‘Tranquility at Night’ measures 1200x1500 and is my largest Beachscape to date. A stunning statement piece. You might catch a glimpse of me looking pretty daggy in this clip! I’m not fussed with polishing myself up when I’m working. It’s all about the art for me. Hope you love it as much as I do.

12.01.2022 More progress today on this night inspired Beachscape. It is the absolute bomb and I cannot wait to show you the finished piece. Over on my Patreon this week I’ll have some exclusive behind the scenes content with commentary, working on a couple of layers. More perks of being a Patron!

11.01.2022 Check out what my next venture is about to be. This absolutely HUGE blank art board (see my most recent commission for reference at the bottom) is destined to be a new night themed Beachscape! She barely got in my car I have most of my boards custom made. These one has recessed, built in cleats for hanging; made from Tasmania Oak hardwood. The board alone weighs over 11kg!

09.01.2022 I feel like I’m full of sneak peeks but nothing to give you lately! Please forgive my finger over the camera, I had literally walked in the door and had to show you all straight away!! These are the three beautiful Christmas designs I created to go with my ‘Wonderland’ art work. They will be available soon as a pack of three cards and six gift tags (two of each design) printed on premium 350gsm linen cardstock. If you missed my post earlier today, these will pair magically with the stunning cleansing pads and wash bags created by the very talented Cynthia from Blossom and Blaze. The very best of Australian handmade, with fabric also printed here in Melbourne!

09.01.2022 STARTER KIT SNEAK PEEK! Not your average, throw-away starter kit! Along with reusable mixing sticks, my resin starter kits will also include reusable cups! A mix of calibrated mixing cups and two different sized pigment cups. More details to come! I’m still waiting on some bits before I can put it together and show you the whole kit.
