19.01.2022 Research Opportunity! A team of researchers from The University of Sydney are seeking input from singing teachers and speech pathologists in Australia for research into the management of singers with voice disorders. The research aims to understand how singing teachers and speech pathologists perceive their respective roles, work together during this process, and how members of both professions envisage collaborating with one another in the future. This is a preliminary data ...gathering exercise, and we are curious to gain insights from participants both with limited experience and extensive experience working with singers, and/or with the other profession. Research participants will be asked to complete a 20-minute online survey. Your answers to the online survey will remain anonymous. If you would like to take part in this research, please click the relevant link for your profession below to access the survey. There is no obligation to attend an interview by doing the online survey. For more information about this study, please contact [email protected]. 07.01.2022 Dear health professionals, RE: Seeking Research Participants DO HEALTH PROFESSIONALS EXPERIENCE VOCAL FATIGUE WHEN TREATING CLIENTS VIA TELEPRACTICE COMPARED WITH FACE TO FACE CONSULTATIONS?... If you are a health professional consulting for a minimum of 3 consecutive hours via Telepractice (phone or video conference) or Face to Face, you are invited to take part in this research study. For the purposes of this study, vocal fatigue is defined as tiredness of and/or avoidance of voice use, and/or physical discomfort and, improvement of symptoms with rest. The Participant Information Statement is attached and participation in this study requires no more than 20 minutes of your time.
