24.01.2022 Do you have a physical condition which is the result of an injury? Did you know that all injuries can be helped with treatment of the sinews with acupuncture? I recently attended a conference with Ann Cecil-Sherman on Treating Sinews - Secrets of the Tendinomuscular Channels.... The type of discomfort an injury has produced, is a clue to how it can be treated. For example a numbness cold pain is treated differently to a hot pain like burning stinging. This is different to a discomfort that might be itching and moves from location to location. This is called a wind condition in Chinese medicine. The position of the body at the time of the accident locks in the body like a shock, this then gives us hints on the location to be treated. Then there is the movement that has become most restrictive or painful as a result of that incident. Lastly the Chinese practitioner will take your pulse to get more diagnostic information of your condition.
