22.01.2022 Whose a busy boy ehh,EHH, 18 lasers to do over this weekend...16 lasers sorted last weekend ,34 units from the same construction company ,absolute minimal downtime of there lasers ......Thanks again Andy for trying my services out .

20.01.2022 Well its been just over a full year since i opened up my own home based workshop....And im loving it ...i wake up and im at work ...Sweet....Some weeks have been quiet, then its full on ,which is great. I have gotten my company name out there, built up a nice client base with repeat customers......but still need to keep building it up...Huge THANKS to CODDY for his passing on my name to his workmates and getting me jobs , especially in some quite times...So Coddy i owe you several beers mate.

19.01.2022 " BUYING SECOND HAND LASERS " I recently got contacted via my Gum tree add about checking a laser that wasn't "quite " right.Customer came over to my office and it was immediately apparent the unit has had a major impact, horizontal beam was way off the monitor screen, while the vertical beam would have been fine building the ETTAMOGAH PUB ....Attached pic of vertical beam shows how bad it was , white rope on left is the true plumb line, red beam on right is well and truly "ON THE PISS ". Luckily the buyer is getting refunded...So if you are going to buy second hand and your local, feel free to ring for advice or a free check of your laser..Its obviously critical that your laser is within specs before you make a huge mistake that could cost you lots of $$$$

14.01.2022 MARCH TIP OF THE MONTH RECEIVERS , DETECTORS , READERS. Lots of different names used for these but they do one job , detecting your laser beam accurately .... Like everything else you get what you pay for , receivers come in so many brands and models its hard to know whats a decent accurate one from one that has say a 5mm band with on its photocells. If buying a new receiver always check the specifications of its fine and coarse band with .A decent receiver will have a fine setting of 1mm to 1.5 mm and a coarse setting of 4mm or less , some top end models have .5mm accuracy with 13 channels on there photo cells. Also be aware that if your work site has lots of GLASS PANELS nearby , they can reflect your laser beam giving you what is called DOUBLE STRIKE on your receivers photo cells causing double readings at different heights , also those flashing yellow lights on graders , back hoes etc can set your receiver off as well. Some do not like being in direct sunlight for long periods of time so shade them if you can .

09.01.2022 AFTER THE FULL SERVICE,CLEANED ,CALIBRATED READY TO GO TO WORK

06.01.2022 A dusty HILTI Rotating laser before and after a thorough clean and calibration . Its important to get your lasers calibrated every 6 months if it is used daily/weekly , as well as being accurate , keeping the laser and all its accessories and case in a nice clean condition can and will get you better money if you decide to sell it .

04.01.2022 FULL SERVICE ON A PIPE LASER BEFORE PHOTO,DUSTY ,DIRTY NEEDING SOME ATTENTION. SO AFTER GIVING IT A NICE SPA BATH WITH CANDLES , IT CLEANED UP VERY NICELY AND MY CUSTOMER WAS VERY HAPPY

01.01.2022 New website is finally live, looking forward to providing minimal downtime on your instruments, Have you got multiple units that require servicing/calibrating ? ..Try my weekend option, if your within reasonable driving distance ,i am more then happy to come and pick up your units on a Friday afternoon , work all weekend ,and drop them back first thing Monday morning .A extremely sensible way to keep all of your instruments with the same calibration dates, not all mixed up wit...h months of different dates causing headaches for who ever looks after your assets/instruments. No extra charges apply on services or calibrating on weekend work ,Competitive prices, large stock pile of original factory parts that no other workshop has. Depending on distance , a small pick up/ delivery fee may apply to cover fuel, (Toll if any) costs...Saving one of your staff members time and wages dropping off/picking up, or nil freight costs if you freighted your units ...A huge win -win situation for my clients. TRY MY SERVICES OUT , I GUARANTEE YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED ..... See more
