24.01.2022 It’s been a long, dry spell between gigs! Tonight, we’ll be playing with our friends Felix Quinn Music from 7-9pm at the restaurant at Pullman Magenta Shores Resort Details below: We are delighted to share with you that the Felix Quinn Band will be providing fortnightly chill sessions in the restaurant and bar lobby on Saturday nights between 7-9pm starting this Sat night. 100% covid safe, no dancing only chill out background music vibes. This week we will be offering a $1...0 Espresso Martinis between 5-7pm in Shallows to accompany them. With September around the corner we will be reopening Barrett's Restaurant Wednesday nights from the 2nd of September, 2020 for our Magenta Residents and Locals. We will also be launching our new version of high teas being CC's Tea Room by Pullman housed in Barrett's Restaurant Saturday and Sunday 12 to 3pm. Come the end of September we are also be updating Barrett's Menu I look forward to your feedback.
24.01.2022 During Covid-19, we’ve been pretty strict about our self-isolation. Where possible, we’ve been staying home & enjoying the company of our little family. The creative energy that’s come out of this forced opportunity to slow down has been phenomenal. We’d be lying if we were to claim that we didn’t miss gigging though... so we’ve been putting our energy into all sorts of creative projects around home. A chance to reconnect with the parts of ourselves that often get lost in the busy routine of daily life. As the sun sets on what has been an emotionally turbulent week, we want to encourage you to find small ways of engaging in self-care:... *drink your favourite drink *create art that allows you to express yourself, giving you access to the deep grief that often surrounds times like these *start new creative projects, birthing some sort of good out of the tragedy that surrounds you *read a book *take time to play games *make music *spend quality time with those dearest to you.

It seems like everyone is facing new challenges, some big & some small; grief, suffering, loss of friends, loss of income & security. I’m feeling the weight a little easier to bear when I put my hands on my keyboard. Somehow, expressing my emotions through music helps. Here’s a little something that I composed the other night while I was feeling all the emotions... thanks Tyson Hilder for adding some incredi...ble drums to this draft version of a bigger composition I’m working through. 01.01.2022 These last few weeks have been crazy. Both of us have been doing our best to keep family life functioning for our kids, managing our work lives as the world around us goes into lockdown, & having multiple gigs cancelled. As we settle into this new version of normal, we need to find time for small things that bring us back to life. May this Easter break hold some positivity, joy & new life amidst the craziness.
