Lash artists will ensure that your lash design is suitable for your natural lashes so they aren't too long or too heavy. They will take their time to carefully apply 1 lash extension per viable natural lash. 14.01.2022 Ever wonder why sometimes your lash extensions aren't lasting? Here we have provided you with a list of Do's & Don'ts that may help improve retention: Do Cleanse your Eyelash Extensions daily with a specially formulated lash cleanser. ... Don’t Wear mascara and eyeliner. Most contain ingredients that can, overtime break down the adhesive causing poor retention. Do Use Oil Free facial products. Do Brush your extensions after patting dry. Brushing keeps the lashes fanned & fluffy. Don’t Fiddle or pick at your lashes. This may cause them to pull out your natural lashes with the extensions causing gaps & damaging the lash bed. Do Avoid extreme heat. Extreme heat like ovens, dishwashers & blow dryers can cause the lashes to melt!! Do Advise your technician if you are taking a regular medication. Some medications can cause retention issues. Don’t Wear strip lashes, removal can pull off your extensions. Do Visit your Lash Tech every 2-3 weeks. Regular visits to your technician will keep them nice full and fluffy.
