17.01.2022 Let’s talk about lash cleansers I cannot stress enough the importance of cleansing your lashes. There is a misconception that wetting your lashes with only water or avoiding water altogether will make your lashes last longer but this is incorrect! You should be cleansing even if you don’t wear makeup & even more so, if you work out and sweat regularly. Our eyelids are naturally oily and any oil along with dirt, makeup, dead skin cells and dust can build up at the base of yo...ur lashes causing poor retention. Oils break down the adhesive causing the extensions to de-bond and shed prematurely. It’s very important you are cleansing every night with a foaming lash cleanser specifically formulated for eyelash extensions. Using a cleanser not designed for extensions, may do more harm than good as the ingredients or PH level may not be safe for your extensions. If you are not cleansing, you are also at risk of developing blepharitis, eye infections and lash mites - yes lash mites are a real thing, yucky Lash extensions are a luxury service and require regular maintenance. If you are spending money on refills every few weeks, please also invest in a cleanser to ensure longevity of your extensions. CLEAN LASHES = HEALTHY, LONG LASTING LASHES. If you are currently not using a cleanser, be sure to pick one up at your next appointment

02.01.2022 The view I get to see when doing your lashes Have you ever wondered what I’m doing when your eyes are closed and why your appointments take so long? During a classic set I individually apply between 80-110+ extensions onto each eye (depending how many natural lashes you have). Each natural lash is carefully isolated before attaching an extension. If your lashes aren’t correctly isolated this can result in ‘stickies’ (two natural lashes stuck to one extension or two extensi...ons stuck together). Stickies can cause discomfort, itching and pulling and will cause damage as the baby lash is being ripped out prematurely. I take the time throughout your appointment to ensure no two lashes are stuck together. Eyelash extensions are not something that can be rushed! This is what separates me from other lash techs as my main priority is your lash health Please do your research ladies and make sure when choosing a lash stylist they have the right certification and knowledge. Cheap lashes aren’t good lashes and good lashes aren’t cheap!

02.01.2022 Hey beauties, there’s a few things happening in 2020 I wanted to share with you - I’m so excited to announce at the end of Jan I will be adding Russian Volume and Hybrid extensions to my services. After one year of nearly perfecting classics (there’s always room for improvement ) I’ve decided it’s now time to learn the intricate skill of creating handmade volume fans. - In March I will be hoping to introduce Brow Artistry which will include waxing, tinting & henna.... - I will be open on Mondays starting from 6th Jan. Yay more time to lash you babes and meet some beautiful new faces so I will be available for bookings every day apart from Tuesday & Thursday when I am working at my dental job. - As of Jan 1st, there will be a slight price increase so please take note when booking. There will also be a surcharge if booking on a Sunday. A massive thankyou to my regular clients for continually supporting me and allowing me to turn my dreams into reality.
