21.01.2022 Ladies, please do not turn up to your appointment with these. I understand that sometimes while you are away on holiday you just want to get a sneaky fill with someone else so that your lashes are looking their best. But I am sorry, I will notice that this is not my work, and I will not fill these. All I ask for is a heads up, so I can allocate more time if a removal needs to be done. Unfortunately for this client she has left without her infill and it is now probably going to be months before I will comfortably lash her again. You can see from the picture the damage that has already been done to the lash line (something we had been working on by not overloading the natural lash).

17.01.2022 I have been starting to see some dirty lashes come back for fills. The obvious reason for this is makeup not being cleansed off properly (or at all ) but there are a heap of other reasons why your lashes are dirty. I’ll go through a few of them. Oil, dead skin cells, dirt and dust build up on your lash line - after all we have eyelashes to stop these from going into your eyes! Allergies. This time of year allergies are rife. You may notice your eyes are itchy, your nose is... runny and you have that thumping headache. Hay fever and other allergies can cause your eyes to be more gunky than usual and that gunk can stay around in your lash extensions if it isn’t clean properly. Makeup of course, is another big reason for dirty lashes. This does not just mean eye makeup, your foundation and other products that you use can also stick to your extensions. It is important to make sure you are using extension friendly makeup to help make cleansing easier. Chat to me about this. So, what happens if you don’t keep your lash extensions clean? You can end up with a dry, irritated lash line, more likely to cause infections and bad bacteria build up, premature lash fall out and you might have a visit from unwanted guests....lash mites!! I often hear from clients that they are too scared to wash their lashes because they notice that some fall out when cleansing. These lashes are more than likely meant to fall out anyway - whether you wash them or not. We lose 3-5 natural lashes a day and by keeping your lashes clean you are allowing them to fall and make room for new lashes to come through. If your lashes are dirty then those ones that want to fall out get caught and stuck in the grime and this causes irritation and can damage your hair follicle. LASHES NEED TO BE CLEANSED DAILY! I have all of the products that you need to keep your lash extensions clean, healthy and fluffy! It also means that you will get more lashes applied during your fills because I’m not spending extra time cleaning them. However, please be aware when canceling that it is likely that I won’t be able to fit you in again prior to your next appointment. This may mean that you need longer at your next fill.
