16.01.2022 Just over a week till I’m back and starting to get so excited, but we have to be smart & safe , so here are my covid 19 safety measures that are In place, Only card, bank transfer and afterpay will be accepted as payment methods. Gloves and a mask will be worn by myself for every treatment.... Each client will be asked to wash and sanitise your hands upon arrival and keep use of a mobile phone to a minimum afterwards. Please arrive on time for your appointment as there will be no waiting area. For those who know my space within @aaronpaulstyle you may or may not have noticed the glass sliding doors surrounding my chair, these will now be closed whilst we work. I ask that no one is accompanied by friends , family , partners or children at their Appointments. I have allowed time between clients to sanitise the chair and the neck rest will have disposable covers applied And finally, if you are feeling unwell in anyway I ask that you cancel :) Rest assured that the salon and my @aaronpaulstyle family are also abiding by strict safety measures too and the salon is pristine :) I have 3 slots available for June 27th left.

05.01.2022 S W I P E .... lengthy post but worth the read; After training 15 years ago with Mary Reid International Beauty School And then spending 10 years of my career as an educator with the renowned @lash_perfect in London, I felt strongly about writing this post, as it happens so so often! So the first picture is the finished version of my work - I must be honest in that I didn’t have enough time to completely perfect them at the end, as the rest of the work took a while ... The second picture is the lashes I removed. Thick, heavy, twisted , synthetic extensions...not my work, but I’m seeing this more and more often. The third picture shows the extreme breakage the previous set has caused my client. The forth and fifth shows the CORRECT application. Notice the following - NO visible glue, an obvious gap between lid line and extension, meaning no irritation to the skin, ONE natural lash being worked on at once and nothing over weighing the natural lash. Think of it like this.... if a small bird sat on the end of a tree branch, there’s no impact, if it were an elephant the branch would bend , lower and eventually snap. Well lashes are kinda the same. If u continuously damage a lash in this way , the follicle will eventually stop producing an eyelash , meaning BALD patches , this in turn meaning that one client will tell all her girlfriends never to get lashes ... One single natural lash , has a life span of 6 weeks, it grows out and falls out , pushed out by a new lash. Not leaving a gap. The new lashes are the ones that we replace with extensions on a refill appointment. With the correct choice of extensions this natural process will never be hindered. Hence why some sets last longer than others. If ur lashes are lasting more than 6 weeks . There’s something wrong and strain is being put on ur natural lashes. Likewise . If ur sets still look like the set I removed, keep going, do a model call, get more mentoring, invest and Let’s keep the lash industry booming Please feel free to share ....x @ Perth, Western Australia

03.01.2022 Drumroll please.... Ladies I am beyond ecstatic to announce Lashes of Perth is rebranded and relocated and now has its very own studio! All singing, all dancing , home renovations are underway to bring you a top of the range studio with its own entrance way and eventually it’s own bathroom located in Woodvale.... I have wanted to create a space for so long but babies and rentals were standing in the way. ... My new studio is a space where you will be welcomed with open arms, where you are able to bring your own children to appointments if necessary, a space that is safe and comfortable , where you can be pampered , listened to or simply take a long lash nap. I wanted to extend my treatment list past eyelash extensions and also offer all things brows , cosmetic tattoo, nails and waxing , a sort of one stop shop if you like. I will also be running a training academy side in the studio, where newly qualified lash artists can come for one on one mentoring to perfect their skills and gain confidence and knowledge about the industry. The salon will launch Feb 1st and be open , weekdays, evenings AND weekends! We will share each stage of the renovation process with you along with new pricelists and loyalty card rewards systems. 02.01.2022 E D U C A T E .... So yesterday I spent a good chunk of my day removing and replacing lashes from another technician. Now I will never slate or slander anyone’s work but what I can do is educate my clients on what to look for when picking a lash artist. I understand my bookings are very limited on saturdays only . However I have a long list of amazing artists I can recommend. ... My aim for the end of this year is to include mentoring sessions for other qualified lash techs to upskill. To me the lash health is key : and that takes precise skills..... without it . All that will suffer is our industry and reputation . As once a clients lashes are damaged , it is very difficult to persuade them to have a second set applied: .... all will make sense tomorrow in my new post. Stay tuned.

02.01.2022 ANNOUNCEMENT Firstly, well done to all my beauty girls & boys - we did it , and now we’re back!!! I’m so sorry to keep you hanging girls , and for the lack of reply’s to all your messages. There was a lot to organise with hours, babies , premises BUT here it is...... ... As of June 20th I am re joining my family @aaronpaulstyle every Saturday from 8am for all your lash and brow needs. Unfortunately at this time brow tattoo will have to wait until I gain council approval but I ask all the girls awaiting top ups to message me privately to make alternative arrangements. I am soooo excited to see you all !!! The Diary Is OPEN !!!!! Availability is limited obviously with Saturday only appointments and I will be prioritising my regulars - so BE QUICK .... 01.01.2022 Well that was a crazy fortnight ... after my husbands food poisoning turned into an emergency appendix removal and THEN him catching septicaemia we’ve been in a bit of a crazy fog! HOWEVER; everything is looking up and he’s making great progress on his recovery. Thanks to all the girls that had to adjust and be flexible with their appointments .
