21.01.2022 Saying 'Thank you' can never be enough. Lest we forget.

20.01.2022 Well it's been a minute since I've held my tools and lashed up a storm but I think I still got it..... Oh Wait! what?!? My happy "client" plastic Pam and her practice lashes are the only company my lash room has seen for a while. As Lashified is still happily complying with the governments Co-Vo restrictions, the doors are closed and will remain closed until the government allows me to reopen and further more until I feel it's safe and in the best interests for myself and my family open. I miss each and everyone of you and can't wait to catch up on all the ISO gossip. So with fingers and toes crossed, soon my pretties, soon.

20.01.2022 The waiting is almost over! Lashified will be reopening on Tuesday the 9th of June. Yippee! Until then I will be required as Head Mistress at Ms Armstrong's Elite School for Children with Extremely Talented Parents ;) Furthermore, at this stage I am only booking appointments for clients who had bookings prior to lock down. ... 18.01.2022 Not yet my beautiful clients....Not yet! In line with the governments latest covid 19 restrictions and the "Road Map Out" Lashified can not reopen until November. I'm truly hoping this is reassessed sooner rather than later, especially given we are regional, but only time will tell. In the meantime, stay positive, take care of yourselves and each other. Although it's destined to be a different one, don't forget for one second why this day exists, it's for YOU! It's a reminder of "Thank you" for all those times it wasn't said, wasn't implyed, it was skipped over, when you felt forgotten about, when you felt lost in everyone else's needs.... This is the day when you are seen, focused on and all those who love you get to st...op and say "Thank you, you are the glue, our everything" To all the Mums who's hearts are hurting today, who are missing their babies, missing their Mum or the day is just to hard to face. 14.01.2022 Lash lifts have been such a love of mine and so many of my Lashified lovelies are jumping on board. Lash lifts curls the lashes, opening the eye and creating a naturally fuller lash look without extensions! The best part is the lack of maintenance! Most lifts last between 8 and 12 weeks so not 2/3 weekly touch ups!

As per the latest press release from government, it's now my turn to close the lash doors. Oh my dear clients, I truly feel blessed to have you pick me. I love every second of our time together. I hope I provided you with some solace from your day to day, uplifting conversation and letting you leave with a happier lighter soul. I know this is how you all made me f...eel. 10.01.2022 What a difference a lash lift and brow lamination makes. Last weekend I had a little play with my MLS lash lift kit and created a lash lift and brow lamination. Must say I'm in love with the results. First photo: One side completed Second photo: completed side... Or maybe not be in my PJs ;) ) (Important: THESE PRODUCTS ARE FOR PROFESSIONAL USE ONLY AND SHOULD NEVER BE SELF APPLIED. They are for professional use only and for person's who have been trained/certified/accredited in the application of lash lift, tint and alike products. FULL DISCLOSURE: Even as a trained professional, who is very aware of the kit and it's contents, I still spent 30mins weeping like a baby and washing my eye with eye cleaning solution as I got solution in my eye)

03.01.2022 Now for the must part I play within the rules but I feel the government can do better to help the beauty sector of Victoria. Below is a link to petition the Victorian government allow the beauty sector to be reclassified. Allowing us to reopen before the end of November, of course with ongoing covid 19 appropriate PPE, sterilisation and cleaning requirements. 03.01.2022 Fighting Covid 19 is an up hill battle but I take grace in knowing all my beautiful clients are doing the right thing and I can't thank you enough. Now here's my story to why we should all keep playing by the rules. STAY HOME if unwell, waiting to be tested, waiting for test results. ... As some of my lovelies already know I've had to lock Lashified down for the past week and a week to come as I was in close contact to someone who tested positive for covid 19. This was a contact with someone outside of my home and business, somewhere I couldn't fully control the climate but somewhere I felt safe as its packed with good people doing the right thing. The moment I was contacted we closed ranks. My hubby contacted his most fabulous staff, explained and is working from home, we pulled our oldest from school and our youngest from daycare. Now these are not 'standard' recommendations from the government, they are for just me to lock myself down in my own chunk of the house for 2 weeks and stay there but in our family home and life style that is impossible. Full family isolation is the way we felt we could best protect our friends, family, Co workers, clients and our community. Closing Lashified and our household down for these weeks is hard and costly and frankly sucked but You know what was harder? Explaining to my 8 year old that he won't be at school for his grade 3 photos and that he won't be in his class group shoot, then consoling him as he cried.... You know what sucked? Telling my 3 year old he can't go to his best friends birthday party just in case we are unwell and cuddling him as I feel his little heart break! You know what I hear is costly.... Funerals...Funerals were only 10 people can attend as you died alone in a plastic bubble.... Now whether the person I come into contact with knew they had a test booked in, had symptoms, should of been isolating is ....well at the core of its none of my business even though it has greatly effected me and my family, I like to assume that we are all trying our best to do the right thing and therefore I assume this person was doing all the right things too. This is not a blame game and the best thing we can offer, instead of accusations is support. I really hope they are recovering well. The point of this post is to highlight the importance of keeping the course. STAYING HOME. If you are unwell STAY HOME If you are getting tested STAY HOME If you have had close contact STAY HOME If you have been tested, waiting results STAY HOME We have to take better care of each other and it's simple to do.... Basic hygiene, wash and sanitize your hands, wear a mask, social distance and STAY HOME. Thank you! You are all super stars! Keep well, keep healthy, stay the course. Much love.
