24.01.2022 We are sad to announce that our guest speaker Kei Kims flight has been cancelled and Australias government locked her out due to the COVID-19 outbreak in South Korea. So unfortunately she wont make it. You will still get her amazing Beautier goodies in your goodiebags! And we are working on possibly having her on video link for the conference.... We will soon be announcing her replacement speaker. Stay tuned!

We had to reshuffle dates over and over but finally we have set dates for the Australian Lash Open 2021!!! For those with credits to Mantra Resort, your credit is valid until October 2021. ... We will restructure and do some changes for the new event. Announcements will be coming soon. This year’s theme for Lash Open will be business recovery, mental health and reconnecting with the industry. And OF COURSE Lashes!! Who is excited?

Yesterday we were invited to Elleebana’s product launch for their new Elleeplex Profusion Lash & Brow Lamination system and Elleeplex Profusion Lash and Brow Colour system! It was so nice to finally catch up with some local industry friends, seriously the first post covid. It was loving, intimate and exciting to see all familiar faces again. ... 15.01.2022 Update: an official announcement will be emailed out to all ticket holders by Monday to use in terms of cancellation of hotel & flights. Continued live: EMERGENCY UPDATE: LASH OPEN POSTPONED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE. Donald trump has today declared state of emergency as death toll rises to 5421 cases worldwide. Travel to and from America has been banned and country is preparing for lockdown. ... Other countries who have closed borders are Czech Republic, Norway, Denmark, Poland, Austria, Turkey, Pakistan and Hong Kong, many countries to follow in the next coming days. Europe has been called epicenter of the pandemic, canada has suspended parliament. Schools and businesses are closing. Australia is expected to follow. After consulting our speakers and team I had to make the difficult decision to put this event on hold. Half of our speakers and guests cannot get here or risking to get stuck in Australia. We simply cannot let that happen. Also, how fun is it to run an event during fear. So, we will postpone the Australian Lash Open until this world catastrophe has passed, and things return to normal. The venue has agreed to let us reschedule to later this year, date to be announced when everything unfolds. All ticket holders will receive a ticket to the face value of the tickets purchased for the postponed dates. This is a FORCE MAJEUR event, out of our control. From the bottom of my heart, I hope you will all be safe, that this world crisis will pass soon, and that we can stick together. 13.01.2022 We are looking for 13 ladies wanting to be models for the Australian Lash Open championship, 21,22 March. What do you as a model get? -free entrance to the venue 2nd & 3rd day -stay and mingle with everyone before/after modeling... -an AMAZING set of lashes by professional lash stylists from all over Australia/New Zealand -the fun experience to be part of a lash comp What are the requirements -needing to be available the whole duration from 7.30am-12 for morning models or 11-5 for afternoon models. -full, healthy lash line with no damage. -no allergies. -no back problems/able to lay still without needing to get up during comp. We need: Classic models - 21/3 am Volume models - 21/3 pm & 22/3 am Lash lift models - 21/3 pm Lash Art models - 22/3 all day We also need models for Pixies workshop on Sunday 22/3, where shes teaching the pixie flick. 12.01.2022 Today the government banned mass gatherings of 100 people or more. We are so happy and relieved we trusted our gut feelings and acted upon our decision to postpone already on Saturday. Im so relieved most of you have managed to get credit/refunds on accommodation & flights. This is beyond our powers. For those still on the coast this Friday, we are organising a quiet dinner. Please let us know if you wish to join us. We will also announce the award winners and the state c...hallenge winners this Friday and our speakers are in the process of recording a shorter video of their presentations which will be posted in the closed group Lash Open Live this weekend. 03.01.2022 Fellow Lash Open guests. We have had a few enquirers the past few days, asking when we will be running the event. Please understand that we more than anyone are keen to run the event as soon as we can. The fact is, that the world is yet not back to normal. Some states have been trading longer than others. Some states have zero to few cases, which is great! Victoria and Nsw are still on high watch and unfortunately it seems like Victorias cases are increasing again, and will... need to take this very seriously. If you look overseas, the situation is still very serious. And we do have so many international guests, we want you all to be able to attend. We are not in the position to predict how the next few months will go. We are on a watch and wait level. We want most of our guests to be financially stable and able to come and enjoy the Lash Open in its fullest! We dont want to run a half effort event. That is why we cant give you a date just yet. We are currently looking at March 2021. But we cant make this decision until possibly September this year? Thank you so much for your overwhelming support. We are still aiming to make the Australian Lash Open the most epic event. And we are looking forward to seeing you all after all the hard times we have all gone through, it will be epic!! The Australian Lash Open will run, we are just not ready yet.
