23.01.2022 Did someone say what is a perpetual calendar? Answer: it’s a calendar that you can use forever because it’s best used for remembering reoccurring dates such as anniversaries and birthdays . We know a lady who keeps one of these in her kitchen and she is the most organised person you will ever meet (though she swears she’s not ). Her secret is to send out greeting cards once a month for all the special events marked in her perpetual calendar!!!... A little bit different to your regular calendar we think they make beautiful little thank you gifts for teachers and Christmas gifts for friends and family . These are made in Australia using 100% recycled paper... and a portion of the profits is donated to @birdlifeoz to protect Australia’s wonderful bird life . 02.01.2022 How gorgeous is this time-lapse of our Australian Bird Life Puzzle?!? A very big thank you to Grace from @puzzlemeplease for creating this video for us and for the lovely review below too PUZZLE REVIEW I can’t stop staring at these beautiful colours. I mean.. just look at it ! Some puzzles you do for the thrill of the challenge and some you do for pure relaxation. This one was definitely the later and I enjoyed every minute of it. Some key thoughts below:... Love love the sustainable, zero waste packaging! Can’t say enough how vibrant the colours are - they’re so deep they almost vibrate off the surface Good artwork for a puzzle with no solid colour blocks - the sky and foliage sections vary in pattern and colour making it interesting Pieces nice to handle - clean cuts, decent mix of shapes, rounded edges, solid feel, smooth backs with medium thickness, no dust Big YES to supporting artist run small businesses! Puzzle art reference card was on the small side but I liked that the card was stiff enough to prop up in a photo stand I’m not usually a fan of glossy puzzle surfaces but this being such a colour focused puzzle, I do think the glossy print enhances the vibrancy Piece fit was on the loose side, not able to pick up sections.
