Marcela has come to achieve the highest level of working performance as a Stylist Some of her contributions include: Employing several people through her business (including people with a refugee background).... Working as a community hairdressing advocate by providing free haircuts for women in domestic violence shelters and homeless men shelter hospital. Volunteering at the Royal Adelaide Hospital, where she attends to some of the most vulnerable people in the ICU and spinal wards and teaching a hair-cutting program in the slums of Manila. It has been a challenging one, but nevertheless rewarding, to seeing our communities joining together in response to extend our support to those most vulnerable. We are humble by the hard and tireless work shown by all of our Team o...f Volunteers, without their time and efforts our immense success wouldn’t be possible. The response across this Great State of South Australia has been one that we should all be proud of. Since we started the Food Relief Program in March this year from the humble beginnings of three (3) to five (5) food packs a week to twenty (20) to thirty (30)and with some weeks even higher. To date we will have supported over six hundred and fifty people (650+) with more than twenty thousand kilometres of travelling by our delivering volunteers and over twenty thousand meals delivered. These outcomes and achievements, are ones that you all shall be PROUD OF!! Finally but as important we would like to wish you all a safe, enjoyable and great X-mas break with your families, friends and loved ones and a NEW YEAR 2021 full of challenges and Great Achievements!!! We are proud to announce that we have been delivering more than 16,170 meals to up to 539 Families in the past 3 months. We couldn’t do it without the support of our partners Foodbank SA Australian Red Cross - South Australia Brazilian Association of South Australia and of course all our amazing group of volunteers. ...
