25.01.2022 Greeniez remain the only undefeated team in LMSNR winter as the lads beat Bin Chickens by 33 runs. Josh Slater didnt really get going like we know he can but still managed to pick up MOTM honours with 50*(39),BJ Franks dropped first ball hit an entertaining 34(25). A big thanks to both teams for sharing a minute silence to remember the inspiring life of Mick, and to... remember the memories we had with him on and off the field. These memories will be forever cherished. Black arms bands were worn to remember Mick’s life and to support his friends and family during this difficult time. Rest In Peace Mick

23.01.2022 295 runs and 10 wickets in a last ball thriller!! Mr Cricket Luke Hall was in it again with MOTM figures 3/14(4) and slashing 19*(6). Jake Clifford having a great season with the Kashmiri 38(20) started OJs innings strong before losing 3 quick wickets!... Needing 152 to win Hackers and Whackers opened up with Kale Hare 53*(30) and Brad Walker 51*(30) had the lads right on track. Similar story with a couple of quick wickets and some tight bowling. 22.01.2022 1181 runs across our final round of matches yesterday with some brutal hitting! Greeniez finish unbeaten without ANOTHER scare to hold on by 3 runs up against Hackers and Whackers! An injury depleted Roughies had some mates help out to record the highest ever LMSNR total on Jim Roder 193.... Next Sunday is Finals day and will kick off with a wooden spoon friendly playoff between the Bin Chickens and Hackers and Whackers at 9:30am. 21.01.2022 Greeniez really fire up their 2020 Winter Premiership favouritism with the highest score this season! The 420 Greeniez went bang early with POTM Barry Franks in ridiculous form as BJ hit 2 of the best inside out cover drives for 6 you will ever see. Both bombs landed in the Trinity School on the full which I have not seen before. All up the Greenies outfit launched a season high 14 maximums with Hamish Clacher hitting 7. Franks 54*(24) Clacher 51*(19) and Jimmy Hort 39(21) al...l going large. 200+ was on the cards until Ryan Duyker 0/13(4) with a scintillating spell saved some grace and restrict the total to 171. Disaster early for Northies Nightwatchmen as new recruit Dan Hatton hit the deck hard first ball with immediate success. Hatton 2/10(3) Franks 2/9(2) and Hort 2/11(3.) doing the damage. 21.01.2022 Greeniez remain the only undefeated team in winter 2020 after a 3 run victory over Roughies in one of the games of the season! (We had 3 yesterday!!!) Greeniez started with a reshuffle of the batting line up and disaster early with Levi Franks run out for a ! Regular wickets had Roughies on top before a very valuable and match winning 35*(27) from the experienced Jason Castle as last man got Greeniez to 127. Corey Latta the pick of the bowlers 3/26(4).... Roughies were well on target for the upset of the season going at the required RPO needed before a game changing spell from big man Josh Slater completely changing this one, Slater couldnt hit the mark in his first over going for 10 including 3 wides to then bounce back with 8 dots in a row to finish 0/13(4). Roughies looked out of it before Izaac Murphy launched 13 off 4 and it was up to Kayne Blasche to hit a homer but it fell just short one bounce 4!!! 20.01.2022 Northies Nightwatchmen are your 2020 Winter Champions! The unbeaten season wasnt to be for the Greeniez who were the best side all year. Greeniez started well sitting at 3/70 with wickets in hand before an 8 over unplayable spell from Anthony Armstrong and POTM Ryan Duyker having only 27 runs scored off the pairs 8 over bowling partnership.... Needing 117 and NN off to a shocker as Armstrong edged one first ball! In Form Gary Rossington dug deep hitting some elegant cuts to pick up 50*(42). Still plenty to do Duyker launching a 6 into the trees to take off some pressure as the lads picked up their 5th LMSNR premiership! Great season Greeniez who swept the players of the season awards. Earlier in the day Greeniez did it easy over Roughies and NN played out a thriller over Orange Justice. 20.01.2022 Sloggers go 2 from 2 in an incredible game of LMS! Overcast conditions treated our Tuesday match and it was one for the bowlers with 14 wickets falling across the match. Bears Benchwarmers started steady going at a run a ball before losing both openers the floodgates opened,losing 6/40 to be all out for 80! POTM Harpreet Pawar 3/11(4) 1 catch and 1 run out.... Sloggers reshuffled the batting line up a little and were in all sorts chasing the modest total as Lisa Mcwhinney ripped through the lads with sensational figures of 3/22(4) with Craig Twimane Lightning behind the stumps! All of a sudden Sloggers were 6/50 and we had a game....Ravi Singh who was rattled early with some quick short deliveries held his nerve to finish unbeaten on 34*(19). 16.01.2022 Roughies and Bin Chickens play out an entertaining 118-118 draw with Robbie Beal starring for the chickens! Corey Latta started the innings off strong for Roughies smacking 40(25) before Beal ripped through in an unplayable spell 3/16(4). Latta then returning the favour with the ball in a fast 4 overs 1/11! Beal who is a 100+ game veteran was so close to his first ever 50 to be dismissed on 49! 1 off 1 the chickens look for a single to be run out and we have our first draw of... the season!!! Tough to score here in the morning matches with the thick outfield as MOTM Izaac Murphy 50*(44) and Kayne Blasche 50*(40) found the gaps nicely and ran the 2s hard to help set up 126. NN started on top in the chase with openers Gary Rossington 38 and Mex Schooth 16 before wickets began to fall and the dangerous middle going cheaply as Blake Johnson ripped through with 3/36(4). ... NN were on top early with 3 quick wickets before a match saving partnership between Andy Levett 50*(28) and Hunter Leeson 30(33) increased the total to a very healthy 139 on the Huge Jim Roder! Young Gun Cam ODonnell 2/28(4) continues to impress this season.... H&W started well removing the dangerous Jake Clifford early and looked to contain the big hitting Hamish Clacher who was dropped over the fence for 6 on 38! Bealy is a true champion of our game and been with us since the very start. One of the most reliable blokes you will see and has had a great season with the ball picking up 13 wickets to date. Always chasing an extra game Bealy is one of our most loved players. In the early days Beal dropped a catch on the boundary which resulted in ...a shockingly broken finger! Off to the hospital and back an hour later looking to get back on for his second game and not let the boys down.. true CHAMPION!
