25.01.2022 It’s almost like @yeti_au colour matched our water bottle to the@lastxplorer79series ... This old piece of kit takes a huge beating the way we roll. (The Landcruiser does too come to think of it!) Well engineered gear is a huge asset in the great outdoors, and recently Hawkey and Kim found out how handy it is to have these insulated water stores when it’s -9C outside and every other water source is frozen !

24.01.2022 The perfect solution to mid week blues. #backyarddamper
20.01.2022 I’m strangely excited about the latest addition to the Patrol (oh yeah - I’m doing a full touring build). Low profile mounting legs are on the way - and when they get here I’ll put the full unboxing and mounting video together.
19.01.2022 Haven’t quite worked out where is will live in the #lastxplorer79series cruiser - but for $50 locally off the buy swap sell we couldn’t resist adopting this top quality bit of Aussie camping kit into the family! We might even use it in tandem with our awesome @openskytouring expedition 134 box as a pair of tucker boxes ... both bits of gear that do their job and are built to last a lifetime - Hawkey
18.01.2022 Hawkey is pretty keen for another long pedal one of these days. We’re not sure they’d let him cross through six countries on the bike during covid though!
18.01.2022 Now it’s time for some brekkie!
18.01.2022 Kennedy Ranges part two is now live on our YouTube channel. Probably one of the most peaceful campsites Hawkey has ever made it into. Subscribe to LastXplorer’s channel keep on top of future releases as soon as they are live - including part 3 of the Kennedy Ranges adventure (coming soon)
17.01.2022 Never let anyone tell you Monday’s aren’t full of excitement
14.01.2022 Freezing cold? Nope, think colder. This was a starry night with temperatures which got down below -9C as we explored the Coolah Tops NP in outback NSW. No snow but plenty of ice, and the water system on the Landcruiser was frozen solid. Great part of the country and easily accessible within a day’s drive from the big smoke. What’s the coldest weather you’ve ever camped in?
14.01.2022 The Silverton Road is CLOSED. And this is why... Thanks for sharing all your photos and videos. Keep them coming ... John Dynon
13.01.2022 Thank you 23zeroAustralia . It’s been worth the wait. Can’t wait to try it out on our next adventure. So far very impressed with the quality and comfort.

11.01.2022 Carefully making our way across treacherous salt flats along the old telegraph track, Norseman WA 2019
08.01.2022 Finally - a bit of decent 4WDing. The last part in our Capricorn adventure... it didn't matter which way we turned, there were road closed signs in every directions. We did managed to find a couple of open track though... :) https://youtu.be/8W_4iHT3uD8
08.01.2022 Having the Australian Wilderness at your fingertips but not exploring it would be like having a billion dollar inheritance but never bothering to call the bank about it. Get outdoors. Go camping. Warm yourself around the fire. Listen to the animals. Stare at the stars. Breathe deep. Slow your pace and live in the moment - you only get so many laps around the sun
06.01.2022 Seriously hope the start to your weekend is as good as this.
05.01.2022 Enjoying the last of the snow. @ Zig Zag Railway
04.01.2022 Who says you can’t teach an old dog new tricks! Hawkey’s WA built cruiser seems equally as at home exploring muddy trails in the South as it is up in the North-West. Here we are searching for a good overnight spot in the NSW Blue Mountains. #greattobebackinthebush
02.01.2022 Looking forward to getting a closer look at one of these.
02.01.2022 Icy winter camping in -9C. That’s the first time Hawkey and Kim have had to use the ‘IDLE-UP’ button in the landcruiser for a cold engine start! Who else is camping this winter? ... There’s something really special about cold weather camping, I reckon it’s because it makes that campfire feel even better See more
