16.01.2022 It’s a far cry from business as usual for all of us at present. We, like everyone else, are waiting to see how this situation evolves, and our priority is the health and well-being of our staff, customers and community. If you have booked your vehicle in for repairs or maintenance with Lasty’s Automotive please consider your general health and if you are feeling unwell, have recently returned from overseas or have been in contact with anyone who has or is in self isolation or... quarantine we ask you to call us to reschedule. We ask that any vehicles are thoroughly cleaned prior to dropping off including sanitising the door handles, steering wheels and seats and any part of the vehicle interior that our Technician are likely to need to touch. We are undertaking stringent cleaning ourselves prior to getting in the car but we need to ensure our people are as protected as can be. Please limit contact with our staff, when you arrive by leaving your car unlocked and a the keys on the dashboard and ensure a minimum of1.5 metres social distancing when speaking to any of our team. At this stage our workshop in South Geelong remains open however this may change rapidly. We ask that if you do not have your vehicle booked in that you call in advance as we will not be able to discuss additional vehicle repairs with you on site. Darren and the team will be able to advise you what the best way for you will be and we can arrange a booking. This is important to ensure we keep movement of people within the workshop to an absolute minimum. As a very small local business we thank all of our customers for their ongoing support and our know that as a community we will come together and do the right thing. 09.01.2022 UPDATE- Lasty’s Automotive is still open for business as we are an essential service, until advised otherwise we will trade. However we ask ALL CUSTOMERS to not come into the workshop if you are unwell, if you have recently returned from overseas or have been in contact with anyone who has returned from overseas and has undertaken self isolation or quarantine. We ask you to practice STRICT hygiene precautions PRIOR to arriving at our workshop to yourselves AND your motor v...ehicles (wash hands, remove ALL rubbish and non- necessary items such as coffee cups, tissues or general rubbish, wipe and sterilize all contact areas etc). The team at Lasty’s will also wipe car internals before and after carrying out any work on your vehicle. We are enforcing very strict hygiene within the entire workshop especially in our customer service areas. The workshop AND office areas are STRICTLY NO ACCESS, NO EXCEPTIONS. If your car is not booked in we apologize in advance however our team will not be able to undertake unscheduled repairs, please ensure you call prior to arrival if possible, Darren and the team will be able to discuss with you any needs and arrange a scheduled time for you to leave your vehicle. Above all else please ensure you maintain social distance with our team to a minimum of 1.5 meters, greater if possible.
