This week we are learning about the different elements of the water cycle. Today we made a water cycle in a jar to help illustrate evaporation, condensation and precipitation. 15.01.2022 This week we celebrated NAIDOC Week and explored the rich and diverse culture of the Aboriginal people of Australia. We explored Aboriginal culture in a variety of ways including the language, music and dance, dot painting, the flag and native Australian animals and plants. On Wednesday, Darren Rogers joined us for a special music session. Darren played 3 different digeridoos for us and explained how they are made. The children were fascinated by the sound of the digeridoo and especially loved when Darren made animal sounds! This was a great experience to complement and extend on our NAIDOC Week celebrations.
