Latevo Farmers Mutual (LFM) strength is its members. 2019 saw the challenge of establishing the mutual in more difficult circumstances that anyone could have anticipated. 2020 brings about an essential part of the mutual, the establishment of the Grower Advisory Committee to the LFM Board. ... The Grower Advisory Committee represents the interests of LFM members to the board. It is our members voice to the board, ensuring that your interests and issues are heard directly. The committee will be made up of twelve member representatives, two from each of the following regions: Northern NSW, Southern NSW, Queensland, South Australia, Victoria, and Western Australia. Two members from the Grower Advisory Committee will then be elected by the committee to sit on the LFM Board. How will the Grower Advisory Committee members be decided? The Grower Advisory Committee members will be decided by the members of LFM. Only LFM members who are current participants for the 2020 program can be nominated to be on the Grower Advisory Committee. Only LFM members who are current participants for the 2020 program can vote for their Grower Advisory Committee representatives in their region. Each member will have one vote only.
