The updates to the COVID-19 recommendations given by the government last night have resulted in us now having no choice but to temporarily shut down our services until it is safe to begin once again.... 23.01.2022 Dear students, parents and friends; We are disappointed to inform that we can no longer train on Sundays at South Sydney High School. The school decided that they will not be renting out the field this year. We found out recently as the school went back for Term 1 and it did not leave us much time to find a new training ground.... At this time there will be NO TRAINING ON SUNDAYS UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE!!! We dont wish to be alarmist but we are considering all the information available at this time to ensure our students and coaches are as safe as possible. We have been in touch with council and we are waiting for the government to ease restrictions for COVID-19 and ensure that it is safe to perform group sporting activities. We will be looking at honouring the 2 weeks that were not completed for those registered with us during term 1 and we will also be reducing the cost of term 2 depending on how many weeks we will be able to offer our training services. 20.01.2022 Ok everyone, We are on the cusp of returning to training. Covid-19 has changed the way we live and it will also change the way we will have to organise our training sessions to keep everyone safe. We are in constant communication with Randwick Council to ensure that we meet all of their requirements to return to training. ... The amount of students/players per coach will be decreased to meet the health regulations and the best way to achieve this in an orderly manner will be to have a booking system that we will be organising in the next few days. The people who were registered for Term 1 2020 missed out on 2 weeks of training before covid-19 shut us down and these 2 weeks will be honoured. 20.01.2022 Dear parents, students and friends, We will be returning to training at Heffron Synthetic Field on Tuesday 23 June 2020. We will be completing the last 2 weeks of term 2 from 23 June to Thursday 2 July 2020. ... These two weeks of training will be dedicated to everyone who was enrolled to train with us at LFS during term 1, 2020. This way we can credit everyone the 2 weeks that we were not able to train in term 1. As you know we are bound by Federal Government, NSW Government, Football Federation Australia and Football NSW COVID-19 guidelines. At the moment these guidelines restrict the amount of people that are allowed to train or gather. Therefore we need to be organised and set up before this date to be able to meet the guidelines and ensure the safety of everyone involved. We are now asking you all to register your interest via email ([email protected]) to let us know which day will suit you best to attend training. At the moment we will be training with a maximum of 14 students per coach and we will have the following training sessions available: BUSY FEET PROGRAM: Tuesdays: 1 group of 14 students between 5-6pm (total 14 students) 1 group of 14 students between 6-7pm (total 14 students) Thursdays: 1 group of 14 students between 5-6pm (total 14 students) 1 group of 14 students between 6-7pm (total 14 students) LFS PROGRAM: Tuesdays and Thursdays: 3 groups of 14 students per day between 5-7pm (total 42 students per day) Please let us know which program you daughter/son is in (either busy feet program or LFS program) and what day they would like to train. In the case of the busy feet program please also let us know what time frame suits you best 5-6pm or 6-7pm. Please let us know your preference ASAP as priority will be given to those who contact us by email first until all spots are taken in each training session and day. Finally it will be mandatory for all students to have an LFS uniform. Due to restrictions we need to ensure that we have everyone uniformed. If you don't have a uniform they can be purchased from us for $70. Also please read the guidelines that we posted on Friday to ensure that we are all on the same page. 13.01.2022 Dear students, parents and friends; This year has been chaotic to say the least, it has brought with it many changes to the way we live. We would like to thank all of you who have supported LFS during this complicated time and we hope that 2021 sees us return to our normal activities in the healthiest way possible. At LFS we have had to deal with a lot of changes also, due to Covid-19 there has been less field availability as the eastern suburbs football association (ESFA) ha...s extended its regular season. This has meant that we have had to adapt to these changes to be able to host our yearly competition the Ultra Football Cup. LFS will be hosting the Ultra Football Cup on Tuesdays and Saturdays during term 4. Meaning that normal training will only be available on Thursday evenings during term 4, 2020. We hope that next year we will be able to return to our normal activities but for now this was the only way that we could fit everything in. 11.01.2022 Good evening students, parents and friends; We would like to communicate a few changes that we had to make due to Covid-19 to the way we have operated at LFS until now. BUSYFEET PROGRAM:... Cost is $130 per term and there will be a maximum of 14 students per training group. Once each session reaches the 14 student registration limit on our website it will be locked. Therefore, please register for term 3 early to ensure a spot on your desired day. The $130 cost for the term will be for a particular day and training session per week. There will be 2 training groups each hour on both training days: Tuesday and Thursday: 2 training groups between 5-6pm and 2 training groups between 6-7pm. LFS PROGRAM: Cost is $260 for the single day trainer and $360 for a multi day trainer and there will be a maximum of 14 students per training group. Once each session reaches the 14 student registration limit on our website it will be locked. Therefore, please register for term 3 early to ensure a spot on your desired day. There will only be 3 training groups on Tuesday and Thursday. Tuesday and Thursday: 3 training groups from 5-7pm REGISTRATIONS FOR TERM 3 ARE NOW OPEN ON OUR WEBSITE. This is because the council is waiting for government advice that will ensure that it is safe to once again resume team sport activities. ... We have a new partnership with Ultra Football and therefore this year it will be called the Uktra Football Cup!!! It will be played on Thursday evenings and all of the playing strips will be provided by Ultra Football.... At LFS there are no more than 100 people on the field at any one time.... Randwick Council has advised us that their facilities are open at the moment as per Australian Federal Government guidelines. At LFS we are monitoring information from the Australian Federal Government on a daily basis to ensure the safety of players, coaches and their families. It now becomes essential that we follow all Australian Government guidelines to keep healthy. Additionally we stress that we should all exercise common sense to minimise transmission: PLEASE DO NOT ATTEND TRAINING SESSIONS IF: - you or your child(dren) are feeling unwell, or have respiratory symptoms (runny nose, cough, sneezing, sore throat). - If you have recently returned from overseas,please do not come to training until your 14 days quarantine period has elapsed. - If you have been in contact with a confirmed COVID-19 case, seek medical assistance and do not come to training until you have been medically cleared.
