19.01.2022 Unfortunately old concrete doesn't always give the nicest look, often stained and aggregate is sparse. One solution is a seamless epoxy coating, concrete was ground, holes and joins filled, primed and finished with the clear epoxy, and 2 coloured base coats between.

18.01.2022 An interesting one, a little concrete pad, acid washed, sanded and then oiled with both a black stain and oxide powder to darken it. The idea was to match existing finished concrete inside the house but make it darker.

17.01.2022 Cafe to be, 60m of hard sealed concrete, including a 35mm step up between slabs, we put the time in, levelled, and filled where required. Finished with Haymes ultimate finish water based 2 pack epoxy.

16.01.2022 A rooftop bar in the heart of the city, bar was built over existing decking, we put ply board down, then laid some coved safety vinyl.

15.01.2022 Ambulant toilet, concrete had cracked and the orginal epoxy flake had gone with it. We removed the old epoxy, filled and smoothed the concrete then installed the nice new vinyl.

15.01.2022 Final reclaimed timber/recycled concrete combination townhouse finished off, unfortunately it rained heavily for days after the concrete slab had been poured, leaving it porous even after having been ground. We used a smoothing compound mixed with white oxide to top-up the concrete around the exposed stones, then meticulously cleaned it off revealing the stones underneath. All finished off with Livos natural oil sealer.

11.01.2022 Beautiful recycled concrete ground and polished, timber floors sanded, both finished with Livos natural oil sealer, an ideal alternative to traditional polyurethane coatings.

10.01.2022 Removed some old carpet, sand, stain, finished with a solvent based polyurethane and new silver trims.

08.01.2022 Outside laundry area, what was left of the old vinyl was removed, cracks filled, concrete ground and sealed with Haymes 2 pack epoxy and finished with their 2 pack polyurethane for UV stability.

07.01.2022 Herford's oak laminate flooring with underlay. excellent to work with, if solid timber and finishing is beyond your budget or timeframe, laminate flooring is ideal.

07.01.2022 Brick pavers and slate pathway, bricks were unwashed, they were ground down, slate path and entry were acid washed and both surfaces were finished with NuTech Pavecoat sealer with anti-slip additive.

06.01.2022 4 old units, finished product left no indication of the amount of work required, a good thing I guess Always love the challenge of bringing old floors back from the brink, and by brink we mean 75mm drop across 3 metres. Aquasmart interlocking hybrid planks laid over both existing timber and concrete surfaces, both of which over 90 years old, old boards were fixed off, plyboard installed, rotten floor joist repaired, dowell pins drilled and chem set into existing slab, steel mesh laid and then a new concrete surface was poured, additional levelling compound was needed to be ready for planks. Areas finished off with quad, caulkhing, new tiles for fireplaces. Newer timber in front half of 2 of the units was sanded and polished, other units were freshened up with a light sand and a coat of polyurethane.

02.01.2022 Little floating floor job, removed the old carpet and installed some Kronospan 8mm oak laminate, finished with black quad.

02.01.2022 250m of carpet tiles done on behalf of St.Claire floor coverings. Old carpet tiles were removed, a little prep then some nice new ones went down.

01.01.2022 Replaced carpet tiles with safety vinyl in some small wet areas, little technical getting it in 2 pieces with one installer, however definitely worthwhile.
